Iran Arrests Terror Ringleaders as Intelligence Crushes Foreign-Backed Riots in Tehran
Security forces dismantle US–Israeli terror networks behind armed unrest, as dozens arrested and weapons seized across the capital
Iran | PUREWILAYAH.COM - Iran’s Intelligence Ministry has announced the arrest of key terrorist ringleaders and dozens of armed rioters involved in coordinated violence across Tehran, as security operations intensify to dismantle foreign-backed cells seeking to destabilize the Islamic Republic.
Authorities confirmed that the arrests are part of ongoing counterterrorism operations targeting networks responsible for killings, arson, and attacks on public and religious sites, carried out under the cover of so-called “protests.”
Intelligence Operations Dismantle Armed Terror Cells
The Intelligence Ministry stated that several senior ringleaders directing the riots have been identified and detained, with operations continuing across Tehran. Public cooperation played a decisive role in exposing suspects and locating their hideouts.
According to official findings, armed rioters attacked seven major areas of the capital, setting fire to two mosques, blocking a vital highway, and killing two members of the Basij volunteer forces. The violence included the use of firearms, knives, axes, hunting weapons, and incendiary materials.
Iran’s national police chief confirmed that 297 rioters responsible for vandalism and destruction of public property have been arrested. Security operations have also resulted in the elimination of two armed perpetrators, injuries to 17 others, and the seizure of weapons, explosives, and logistical equipment prepared for further attacks.
US and Israeli Intelligence Exposed Behind Tehran Violence
Iranian authorities confirmed that the unrest was not a spontaneous protest movement but a coordinated terror operation backed by foreign intelligence services.
Intelligence assessments directly implicate the United States and the Israeli regime’s Mossad spy agency in providing logistical, financial, and operational support to the rioters.
Law enforcement agencies have opened 20 separate cases linking detainees to terrorist groups affiliated with the Israeli regime. Arms caches and explosive materials were discovered, intended for use against civilians, security personnel, and state institutions.
Security officials stated that Washington and the Zionist regime launched the internal sabotage campaign after failing to impose their will through direct confrontation with Iran, attempting instead to manufacture chaos and insecurity from within.
Nation Honors Martyrs as Iran Draws a Red Line
As security forces continue to neutralize hostile networks, Iran is preparing for a mass funeral honoring 100 martyrs, including civilians and security personnel killed during the riots. The ceremony will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. local time in Tehran, underscoring the human cost of foreign-engineered violence.
Ahmad Mousavi, head of the Martyr Foundation, confirmed that many of the perpetrators responsible for the killings are now in custody, and investigations are ongoing.
Iranian officials reiterated that while legitimate economic concerns will be addressed, foreign-backed terror and armed riots will be crushed without hesitation. Authorities stressed that Iran’s security, sovereignty, and revolutionary principles remain a red line, and any attempt by the US and its allies to undermine them will be met with firm resistance.
The message from Tehran is unequivocal: destabilization plots have failed, terror networks are being dismantled, and Iran stands resilient against imperial aggression and foreign subversion. (PW)
