In a Condolence Letter to Hezbollah’s Chief, Sayyed Houthi Affirms Yemen’s Full Support Against Israel

Yemen's leader denounces Israel’s escalating attacks and warns that U.S. protection enables continued violations across the region.

Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, has sent a formal condolence message to Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem following the Israeli assassination of senior jihadi commander Sayyed Haitham al-Tabatabai and several of his comrades in Lebanon.

In the letter, Sayyed Abdul-Malik praised al-Tabatabai as a figure whose “life was defined by jihad, sacrifice, and righteous deeds,” emphasizing that his legacy would remain “eternal through his contributions and his final attainment of martyrdom.”

He offered special condolences to the families of the martyrs, calling their loss “an honor in the path of God after a lifetime of struggle and achievement.”

Houthi Leader: Israel’s Crime Proves Deep-Rooted Aggression

Sayyed Abdul-Malik condemned the attack, describing it as yet another proof of the Israeli regime’s entrenched criminality and its ongoing violations not only in Lebanon but also in Gaza.

He stated that Israel “will never honor commitments or agreements,” noting that the regime’s behavior is directly enabled by “full American protection, support, and political cover.”

The Houthi leader warned governments in the region that relying on Israeli assurances is “a dangerous illusion.”

Criticism of Regional Governments for Negligence and Compliance

In a sharply worded message, Sayyed Abdul-Malik criticized several regional governments for what he termed “negligence” in responding to Israeli aggression.

He noted that some political factions go beyond negligence, adopting “the demands and dictates of the enemy,” including efforts to disarm oppressed populations and weaken their resistance.

He warned that such policies only embolden Israel’s escalation across the region.

Strong Support for Hezbollah and the Axis of Resistance

Sayyed Abdul-Malik reaffirmed Yemen’s full solidarity with Hezbollah, describing the group as a steadfast force with “authentic jihadi doctrine, a proven record of successes, and deep institutional resilience.”

He praised Hezbollah’s long-standing role across the fronts of the Axis of Resistance, highlighting its “great sacrifices and decisive contributions.”

He expressed confidence that the movement would continue to overcome challenges despite ongoing Israeli aggression and U.S. interference.

Certainty in Israel’s Future Collapse

The Houthi leader reiterated his belief in the “inevitable fulfillment of the divine promise” that the Zionist entity — which he described as “temporary” — will ultimately disappear.

He argued that Israel’s escalating crimes only hasten this outcome.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik also warned the wider Muslim world of attempts to normalize relations with Israel, asserting that “all schemes to domesticate the Ummah to accept the Zionist enemy will fail.”

He concluded by stressing that “the only correct and realistic option is conscious resistance, confronting every conspiracy, and upholding the banner of jihad.”

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

{Among the believers are men who have been true to what they pledged to Allah; some of them have fulfilled their vow by death, and some are still waiting, and they have never changed in the least}

Your Eminence, the Secretary-General of Hizbullah,

The dear mujahid brother,
Sheikh Naim Qassem, may Allah protect him,

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you,

We extend to you, and to all our brothers and sisters in Hizbullah — its noble supporters and its loyal popular base — our warmest condolences and deepest sympathy on the martyrdom of the dear brother, the great jihadi commander Sayyed Haitham bin Ali al-Tabatabai (Sayyed Abu Ali), and his martyred comrades, may Allah be pleased with them all.
We extend special condolences to their families and their noble households. Congratulations to them for attaining the conclusion of martyrdom in the path of Allah the Exalted, after a jihadi journey full of sacrifice and accomplishments.

Indeed, the great jihadi commander Sayyed Haitham al-Tabatabai, may Allah’s mercy be upon him, lived a life of jihad, giving, righteousness, and goodness — among those who rose to the level of the meaning of the blessed verse:
{Say, “Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.”} (Al-An’am 162).
Allah granted him success in achieving important accomplishments and a major contribution throughout his wide-ranging jihadi mission in support of truth and the oppressed.

He will remain immortal through his giving and great contributions in the arena of jihad, along with the honor he attained through the conclusion of martyrdom in the path of Allah and eternal life among the martyrs. And Allah does not waste the reward of the believers.

The Israeli enemy — through its crime of targeting the martyr and his comrades, may Allah be pleased with them, and through its assaults that have not ceased for a single day since the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, as well as in Gaza — demonstrates to all the peoples of the region and their governments its deep-rooted aggression and criminal behavior.
It shows that the enemy will not uphold any commitments or agreements, especially given the American protection, support, and cover it receives — in contrast to the negligence of governments and regimes, and some factions that do not stop at negligence, but rather adopt the demands and dictates of the Israeli enemy to strip these oppressed, targeted peoples of their weapons and elements of strength, besiege their resistance fighters, attempt to distort them and place blame upon them, and impose various forms of pressure on their popular support base through economic blockade and other measures.

We have complete confidence in the steadfastness and resilience of Hizbullah — with what it possesses of faith, an authentic jihadi doctrine, long practical experience full of successes, the ability to overcome difficulties, a great record of achievements, and a cohesive structure built upon the foundations of piety and reliance upon Allah:
{And whoever holds firmly to Allah has indeed been guided to a straight path.} (Al Imran 101)

The distinguished role of Hizbullah across the fronts of the Axis of Jihad and Resistance is deeply rooted in its great sacrifices and major contributions — in the field of action, in word and deed.

We reaffirm our complete solidarity with you and stand by your side in confronting the Israeli Zionist tyranny targeting our entire Ummah — confident in the certainty of the divine promise of the disappearance of the temporary Zionist entity, no matter how far its arrogance, pride, and crimes may go.
For indeed, these only bring it closer to its demise.

And it will become evident to our Ummah, day after day, the failure of all options that seek to domesticate the Ummah for that enemy.
The correct, realistic, and truthful option is conscious and responsible action in confronting that enemy, resisting all its conspiracies, carrying the banner of jihad in the path of Allah the Exalted, and trusting in His promise.
Indeed, Allah does not break His promise, and the final outcome belongs to the righteous. (PW)
