How Iran Shattered the Myth of Enemy Air Defense Superiority
Iranian missiles and drones strike deep into occupied Palestine, exposing the limits of Israel’s air defenses and overwhelming advanced interception systems.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — The Zionist entity and its settlements across occupied Palestine are facing visible destruction as Iranian missiles and drones continue striking their targets with high precision.
These strikes are penetrating multiple layers of advanced air defense systems deployed by the enemy.
The destruction is visible in many areas, particularly in the occupied city of Jaffa, which the enemy calls Tel Aviv.
Heavy damage has also been reported in Haifa and other settlements.
These developments indicate that the air defense systems once proudly showcased by the Zionist entity have become ineffective in the face of Iranian military capabilities.
Strategy of Saturation and Overload
Yemeni military expert and analyst Brigadier General Mujib Shamsan stated that Iran possesses tens of thousands of conventional missiles stored in secret depots.
He explained that these missiles are used within a strategy of saturation and overwhelming air defense systems.
He said:
“Large numbers of missiles are launched in order to force air defense systems to attempt interception, which leads to their exhaustion.”
According to Shamsan, enemy air defense missiles such as THAAD, Patriot, Hetz, and Arrow are difficult to replenish quickly once their stockpiles are depleted.
He added that practical experience has demonstrated the limited effectiveness of these defensive systems.
Conventional missiles have successfully struck many sites inside the occupied entity in Palestine.
They have also struck several American bases in the region.
These systems, he said, failed to intercept the incoming missiles.
Destruction of Advanced Systems
Shamsan stated that some advanced defense systems have been destroyed during the confrontation.
He said that several installations were targeted at different locations.
Among them was a radar system located in the United Arab Emirates.
Another system destroyed was a THAAD system in Jordan at Muwaffaq al-Salti Air Base.
He estimated the value of these systems at between $500 million and $800 million.
Regional Defense Network Exposed
The American-Zionist aggression against Iran has revealed the presence of multiple layers of air defense systems across the region, particularly in Gulf states.
These systems include advanced radar networks.
According to Shamsan, these radars were sending early signals to the Zionist entity before Iranian or Yemeni missiles reached their targets.
This early warning allowed interception attempts before the missiles reached their objectives.
However, the destruction of this network by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps changed the situation.
Shamsan said:
“The destruction of this system made it easier for missiles to penetrate the enemy entity and bring down its myth.”
He added that Iran succeeded in opening gaps in the air defense system.
This allowed more precise and more destructive missiles to reach their targets inside the Zionist entity.
It also allowed Iran to strike with greater operational ease while accurately selecting targets.
Integrated Defense Under Israeli Command
To clarify the picture further, this regional zone extending even into occupied Palestinian territory had been placed under the operational management of the Zionist entity by the United States.
All the defense systems located in regional and Gulf states were integrated into this network.
With a single command, the Zionist entity could monitor any aircraft or missile launched from Iran in real time.
Massive U.S. Military Transfers Before the War
Months before the latest aggression against Iran, the United States conducted extensive military transport operations into the region.
These operations continued for more than one month.
During that period, approximately 262 military cargo aircraft arrived.
They transported large quantities of military equipment into strategic warehouses in regional states.
These supplies were intended to support the aggression against Iran.
However, according to the report, most of these supplies were destroyed by Iranian missile strikes and by Iranian battlefield tactics during the confrontation. (PW)
