Hezbollah: We Have Full Control of Ali al-Taher Hill
Hezbollah said the strategic Ali al-Taher Hill remains fully under Resistance control, denying Israeli claims of capturing the position and declaring its fighters are ready to repel any new advance.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM – Hezbollah has categorically rejected Israeli claims that occupation forces captured the strategic Ali al-Taher Hill east of Nabatieh, stating that the position remains fully under the control of the Lebanese Resistance.
In a statement issued by Hezbollah’s Operations Room on Friday, the group dismissed reports published by official bodies affiliated with the Israeli military regarding the hill.
Hezbollah Denies Israeli Claims
“The Islamic Resistance categorically denies what was published by official bodies affiliated with the Israeli enemy army regarding its control over Ali al-Taher Hill on the eastern outskirts of the city of Nabatieh,” the statement said.
Hezbollah added that the hill is “devoid of any presence of occupation forces” and remains under the complete control of Resistance fighters.
“Ali al-Taher Hill remains under the full control of the Resistance fighters.”
Resistance Fighters on Full Alert
The Operations Room said Resistance forces remain in a state of full readiness to confront any Israeli attempt to advance or infiltrate the area.
“The Resistance fighters are in full readiness to confront any attempt by the enemy forces to advance or carry out an incursion,” the statement added.
The announcement came after Israeli authorities claimed that occupation forces had taken control of the strategic hill overlooking the eastern approaches to Nabatieh.
Previous Fighting at Ali al-Taher
The latest statement follows weeks of fighting around the strategic Ali al-Taher Hill.
On June 19, Israeli media acknowledged that occupation forces had failed to capture the heights after heavy clashes with Hezbollah fighters. According to the reports, Resistance forces targeted Israeli tanks and troop movements with anti-tank guided missiles and drones, inflicting casualties and forcing the evacuation of wounded soldiers.
Hezbollah also repelled Israeli attempts to advance toward Kfar Tibnit, targeting the attacking forces with guided missiles and pre-planned ambushes. At the time, the group vowed that the Kfar Tibnit–Ali al-Taher axis would remain closed to Israeli incursions. (PW)
