Hezbollah: The Enemy’s Scenario for Lebanon Is the Same Conspiracy Imposed on Syria
Senior Hezbollah lawmakers warn that Washington and “Israel” are driving a Syria-style plot to weaken Lebanon and force the Resistance into submission.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Hussein al-Hajj Hassan, a leading member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc, warned that the political and security pressures facing Lebanon today mirror the same conspiracy previously imposed on Syria.
Speaking Saturday night amid escalating U.S. pressure, continuous Israeli violations, and what he described as domestic collaboration in service of the enemy, al-Hajj Hassan stressed that Lebanon needs no new agreement as long as the existing ceasefire — repeatedly violated by Israel — remains unimplemented.
“Some insist on disarming the Resistance and claim that doing so removes Israel’s excuse. As if Israel invades Lebanon because of the Resistance’s weapons, and not because of its own aggression,” he said.

Al-Hajj Hassan stated that the United States is not a neutral mediator, but “the leader and driving engine of the Zionist project” in the region.
“The scenario crafted for Lebanon today is exactly what was imposed on Syria — a buffer zone, expanded Israeli occupation, and the destruction of Lebanon’s elements of strength, not only the Resistance but the state itself,” he said.
He noted that Lebanon already has an agreement from November of last year, backed by the U.S., UN guarantees, and French participation, mandating:
Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territory
Cessation of Israeli aggression
Release of Lebanese detainees
Reconstruction of Lebanon
“Why would Lebanon need a new agreement when the previous one was never implemented by the Israeli occupiers?” he asked.
“If Syria Has No Resistance Weapons, Why Does Israel Keep Bombing It?”
Al-Hajj Hassan rejected claims that disarming Hezbollah would end Israel’s aggression.
“Is there Resistance or weapons in Syria? Yet the Israeli regime constantly attacks Syria, occupies more land, and openly says it will not withdraw,” he said.
He added that even though the current Syrian government is aligned with Washington, Israeli violations continue — proving that concessions only invite more aggression.
“Every concession to the enemy makes you weaker. Resistance and national unity are the only real guarantees of deterrence.”
Pressure Campaign Aims to Force Lebanon into Submission
Another senior Hezbollah legislator, Hassan Ezzeddine, also warned of multi-front efforts to subjugate Lebanon.
He called for a political shift toward confronting Israeli occupation and compelling the enemy to implement UN Resolution 1701.
“Our region is engulfed in conflict because of the continuous aggression of the Zionist enemy. ‘Israel’ is merely a tool of the American project targeting our region’s resources, wealth, civilization, and geography,” he said.
Speaking in a meeting with a delegation from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Ezzeddine added:
“Despite its technological superiority, the enemy has not won a single battle. And despite all American pressure and dominance, Washington has failed to achieve its objectives or eliminate the Resistance.”

Ezzeddine stressed that the enemy seeks to expand its crimes across the region, using economic, financial, and social pressure in a bid to force the Resistance into surrender after failing on the battlefield.
“Our stance is clear: either death or surrender — and we will never raise the white flag. Raising it would be a betrayal of the martyrs. We stand with the people of Palestine in the same trench, and our position must remain united in both Palestine and Lebanon.” (PW)
