Hezbollah Releases Footage of Haddatha Battle, Destroys Israeli Bulldozers and APC
Resistance fighters confronted IOF at point-blank range in southern Lebanon, destroying military vehicles and repelling what Hezbollah described as the enemy’s fourth failed attempt to seize Haddatha
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Hezbollah released battlefield footage documenting intense confrontations with Israeli occupation forces during failed attempts to advance toward the southern Lebanese town of Haddatha earlier this month.
According to footage published by Hezbollah’s Military Media, the clashes took place between May 19 and 20 during what the Resistance described as the Israeli army’s fourth failed attempt to enter and impose control over the town in the central sector of southern Lebanon.
The footage showed Israeli occupation forces advancing under heavy aerial cover and intensive bombardment while Hezbollah fighters prepared ambushes and defensive positions along the Haddatha–Rsheif axis.
Resistance Fighters Engage Israeli Forces at Point-Blank Range
The released footage documented Hezbollah fighters monitoring Israeli troop and vehicle movements through what appeared to be detailed surveillance and field intelligence operations.
Resistance fighters were shown preparing heavy and medium machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades, and explosive devices before confronting the advancing Israeli force at close range.
According to Hezbollah’s Military Media, the Israeli assault began around 8:45 pm Al-Quds time under heavy air cover from warplanes carrying out intense strikes in support of the advancing units.
The footage showed Hezbollah fighters detonating improvised explosive devices against Israeli forces before fierce direct confrontations erupted on the battlefield.
One Hezbollah field commander was heard saying during the operation:
“The vision is not clear, and this is what is available. If you support God, He will support you and keep your feet firm.”
The commander also confirmed the successful detonation of explosive devices targeting the advancing Israeli force.
Four Bulldozers and an APC Destroyed
Daytime footage released by Hezbollah later showed the aftermath of the battle, including what the Resistance identified as destroyed Israeli military engineering vehicles and armored units.
The footage displayed a heavily damaged Israeli D9 military bulldozer reportedly destroyed and burned during the clashes after its crew was killed or wounded.
Another scene showed an Israeli armored personnel carrier engulfed in flames with thick smoke rising from the vehicle after being directly targeted by Resistance fighters.
A Hezbollah fighter standing beside the destroyed bulldozer declared:
“Look what we’ve done to it… these weak Israelis… they can’t advance anymore.”
He added:
“You won’t have any tanks left or bulldozers… we are continuing the statement of His Eminence, the martyred Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.”
“A New Defeat for the Enemy”
The video concluded with a statement declaring the Israeli operation another battlefield defeat for the occupation forces at the gates of Haddatha.
“Despite all the fire and intelligence efforts and the four attempts to occupy it, Haddatha has become a new landmark for humiliating the enemy,” the statement read.
The footage comes amid continued confrontations along the Lebanon-Palestine border, where the Lebanese Resistance has repeatedly targeted Israeli military positions, vehicles, and troop movements in response to the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza and attacks across the region. (PW)
