Hezbollah Launches Missile Strike on Israel’s Strategic Palmachim Base
Hezbollah strikes key Israeli military sites including the Palmachim airbase and troop positions as resistance operations escalate along the Lebanon front.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Hezbollah announced that it carried out a missile strike against the Palmachim Airbase, a strategic military installation belonging to the Zionist regime located south of Tel Aviv.
According to the statement, the attack was conducted using specialized missiles, which struck their designated targets with precision.
Palmachim Airbase is considered one of the main facilities of the Israeli Air Force. The base hosts a number of military drones and helicopters, as well as military research and radar centers linked to the Arrow (Hetz) missile defense system.
Missile and Artillery Attacks on Israeli Troop Gatherings
In a separate statement, Hezbollah reported that its fighters launched missile strikes against a gathering of Israeli soldiers at the “Hadbat al-Ajal” site, north of the settlement of Kfar Yuval.
The resistance movement said the attack was carried out in defense of Lebanon and its people.
Hezbollah also announced in another statement that its fighters targeted Israeli troop positions near the border town of Meiss al-Jabal using artillery fire.
Resistance Operations Continue Amid Israeli Attacks
These operations come as Israeli forces continue what Hezbollah described as brutal attacks against civilian areas in Lebanon.
In response, Hezbollah’s operations against occupying forces have continued across the front.
The movement announced that 47 military operations were conducted the previous day against Israeli positions, bases, and troop deployments along the border and deep inside northern occupied Palestine.
Direct Clashes in Southern Lebanon
Hezbollah also confirmed that its fighters engaged direct combat with Israeli forces in the town of Khiam in southern Lebanon.
According to the group’s military statements, resistance fighters confronted Israeli troops using light and medium weapons as well as rocket-propelled missiles.
The Lebanese resistance further reported that early Sunday morning it launched a rocket barrage targeting a concentration of Israeli soldiers at the Avivim barracks, continuing its series of operations against Israeli military positions. (PW)
