Hezbollah Launches Drone Strike on Israeli Ramat David Airbase
Lebanon’s Resistance says attack targeted Israeli military radar and control sites in response to deadly strikes on Lebanese civilians.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Hezbollah has officially announced that it carried out a drone operation targeting the Ramat David airbase in northern occupied Palestine.
According to a statement, the Lebanese Resistance confirmed that at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, it launched a series of attack drones against radar installations and control rooms at the “Ramat David” airbase.
Operation Framed as Direct Retaliation for Israeli Aggression
The statement said the operation was conducted in response to what it described as criminal Israeli aggression that targeted dozens of towns and cities across Lebanon, including the southern suburb of Beirut (Dahiyeh).
The attacks reportedly resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of men, women, and children, wounded many others, destroyed civilian buildings and infrastructure, spread fear among the population, and displaced innocent civilians from their homes.
Hezbollah emphasized that the Islamic Resistance remains fully committed to defending its land and people, particularly after the Israeli enemy crossed red lines through its crimes.
Resistance: Strike Focused on Military Targets, Not Civilians
The statement stressed that the Resistance’s response targeted strictly military centers, unlike the Israeli enemy, which it accused of deliberately striking civilians. It added that this operation represents the minimum necessary step to deter and prevent the continuation of what it described as the regime’s dangerous objectives against Lebanon, its people, and its Resistance.
