Hezbollah Launches 37 Operations in 24 Hours Against Israeli Forces Across Southern Front
Hezbollah launched 37 operations against Israeli forces, tanks, and military sites in response to Israeli attacks and destruction in southern Lebanon.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Lebanon’s Hezbollah carried out 37 military operations targeting Israeli occupation forces, positions, and military equipment in response to Israeli ceasefire violations, attacks on civilians, and the widespread destruction of southern Lebanon.
The operations were conducted between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday evening across several fronts, mainly in Zawtar al-Sharqiya, al-Adaysseh, Rab Thalathin, Debel, al-Naqoura, and the forests of Galilee.
The attacks involved suicide drones, precision-guided rockets, guided missiles, artillery shelling, and direct close-range combat.
Zawtar al-Sharqiya Becomes Main Battlefield
Hezbollah stated that Zawtar al-Sharqiya witnessed the fiercest confrontations, where resistance fighters blocked Israeli advances and engaged invading troops at close range in several areas.
According to the resistance statements, Israeli forces were eventually forced to retreat before launching heavy artillery barrages and fire belts over the region.
During the operations, Hezbollah targeted Israeli troop gatherings and military vehicles around Zawtar al-Sharqiya, the river channel, Tal al-Khazzan, the Cultural Complex, Jall al-Hammar, Hadbat al-Ajal, Tal al-Oweida, al-Adaysseh, Rab Thalathin, and Debel.
The Lebanese resistance also struck newly established Israeli military positions in Tal al-Oweida, Iron Dome platforms in Jall al-Allam, and newly deployed Israeli artillery sites in al-Adaysseh.
Hezbollah said the attacks achieved “direct and confirmed hits,” adding that an Israeli helicopter entered one of the battle zones to evacuate wounded soldiers.
Israeli Tanks, Iron Dome Platforms, and Military Vehicles Hit
According to Hezbollah’s statements, the following Israeli targets were struck during the operations:
5 Merkava tanks
1 tank in Bustan Zattam
2 tanks in eastern Zawtar al-Sharqiya
2 tanks in the al-Khazzan area, one of which was reportedly set ablaze
1 D9 military bulldozer
2 “Jackhammer” engineering vehicles
1 Namer armored vehicle
1 excavator in the forests of Galilee
2 Iron Dome platforms at the Jall al-Allam position
2 newly established Israeli artillery positions in al-Adaysseh
1 newly established military site in Tal al-Oweida
1 tent used by Israeli troops in al-Naqoura
In addition, Hezbollah stated that more than 20 attacks targeted Israeli troop concentrations and military equipment across southern Lebanon and northern occupied Palestine.
Hezbollah stressing that the operations were carried out in defense of Lebanon and its people, emphasizing that the Islamic Resistance “will not allow Israel to achieve its objectives against Lebanon, its people, and the Resistance.” (PW)
