Hezbollah says it downed Israeli drones, struck military positions, and targeted armored vehicles across southern Lebanon and the border region.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Hezbollah announced that its fighters carried out 24 military operations against Israeli forces and positions over the past 24 hours, targeting troops, military vehicles, and military infrastructure across southern Lebanon and the border region.
According to statements released by Hezbollah’s Military Media, the group’s fighters successfully shot down an Israeli Hermes 450 drone over the Khardali area in southern Lebanon using a surface-to-air missile.
Hezbollah also reported targeting another drone of the same type over the Iqlim al-Tuffah region, forcing it to retreat from the area.
Israeli Drones Shot Down
In a separate operation, Hezbollah announced the downing of an Israeli Heron-1 drone over the Nahleh area in Lebanon’s Beqaa region using what it described as an advanced missile.
The group said the drone interceptions were part of ongoing efforts to counter Israeli aerial activity over Lebanese territory.
Military Positions and Vehicles Targeted
Hezbollah stated that Israeli troop gatherings and military vehicles in several locations, including Naqoura, Al-Qawzah, Rashaf, Al-Qantara, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Yahmar al-Shaqif, Adaisseh, and Tayr Harfa, came under repeated missile and drone attacks.
According to the group, some of the operations involved swarms of suicide drones, while others were carried out using rockets and artillery fire.
The area of Al-Rajman, near the town of Tayr Harfa, was described as one of the main axes of confrontation, with multiple attacks reportedly targeting concentrations of Israeli troops and equipment.
Merkava Tank and Military Equipment Hit
Hezbollah also claimed that its fighters targeted several Israeli military assets, including Merkava tanks, a Humvee, a military bulldozer, and other equipment.
According to the group, some of these attacks were conducted using Ababil suicide drones.
In one operation, Hezbollah said it targeted an Israeli military command center and technical equipment in the settlement of Rashaf with a group of attack drones.
The group also reported striking a newly established artillery position in Adaisseh, as well as a vehicle carrying ammunition near the site.
Hezbollah Vows to Continue Resistance
Hezbollah stated that its operations are part of its ongoing effort to defend Lebanon and its people against Israeli attacks.
The movement reaffirmed its commitment to confronting what it described as Israeli aggression and threats against Lebanon, pledging to continue military operations in support of that objective. (PW)
