Hezbollah Congratulates Iran on Landmark Agreement, Warns Israel Against New Aggression
Hezbollah described the Iran–US MoU as a major achievement born from Iran’s steadfastness, warned that the Resistance will not accept any renewed aggression against Lebanon.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM– Hezbollah has welcomed the Memorandum of Understanding reached between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, describing it as a historic achievement that led to a comprehensive ceasefire across all fronts, including Lebanon.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Lebanese Resistance movement congratulated Iran’s leadership and people, saying the agreement was the result of “legendary steadfastness, exceptional resilience, and immense sacrifices” made by the Iranian nation and its leadership.
“Hezbollah congratulates the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership and people, on the great achievement of reaching a Memorandum of Understanding with the United States of America,” the statement said.
Hezbollah Praises Iran’s Leadership and Support for Lebanon
Hezbollah paid tribute to Imam Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, saying he guided this critical phase with wisdom, courage, and exceptional insight.
The movement also praised Iran’s president, government, Armed Forces, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the Iranian people for their unwavering support for Lebanon and its Resistance throughout the conflict.
According to Hezbollah, Iran insisted that Lebanon be included in any understanding aimed at ending the war and safeguarding Lebanese rights.
The statement expressed gratitude for what it described as Iran’s willingness to bear the burdens of blockade and aggression while continuing to stand alongside Lebanon.
“The Islamic Republic has once again proven that it is truly a steadfast, powerful, and loyal ally,” Hezbollah said.
Tribute to the Resistance and Displaced Families
The movement also paid tribute to displaced Lebanese families and supporters of the Resistance who endured the hardships of the war.
Hezbollah praised their patience, resilience, and sacrifices, saying they had demonstrated that they are “the most honorable of people,” echoing the description often used by Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
The statement also honored the Resistance fighters who fought on the frontlines against Israeli forces.
Describing them as “the shield and protective fortress of the homeland,” Hezbollah said they had offered their blood and lives for the dignity of Lebanon and inflicted a bitter defeat on the Israeli enemy.
No Return to Pre–March 2 Reality
One of the strongest messages in the statement was Hezbollah’s warning that the post-war reality in Lebanon cannot be reversed.
“The Israeli enemy must understand that there is no return to the reality that existed before March 2,” Hezbollah declared.
The movement stressed that the Resistance would never accept any aggression that violates Lebanon’s sovereignty or targets its people.
“The Resistance, which has always been and remains vigilant in protecting the homeland and its people, will not accept any aggression that violates its sovereignty and sheds the blood of its people,” the statement said.
Hezbollah reaffirmed its commitment to Lebanon’s legitimate right to defend its land, people, and sovereignty until a complete Israeli withdrawal is achieved and all prisoners are returned.
Liberation, Reconstruction, and Return
Hezbollah said the current achievement should be viewed as the beginning of a broader process that includes the liberation of occupied Lebanese territory, the return of prisoners, the return of displaced residents to their homes, and the reconstruction of areas devastated by the war.
The movement called on residents, particularly those from frontline villages, to wait for official instructions before returning home in order to avoid any risks stemming from potential Israeli violations of the ceasefire.
Call for National Unity
In the final section of the statement, Hezbollah called on the Lebanese state and all political forces to restore a unified national position in pursuit of goals that serve Lebanon’s interests and safeguard its sovereignty, strength, and resilience.
The movement urged Lebanese officials to reassess previous political calculations and draw lessons from recent events.
“A unified Lebanese position and reliance on true friends remain the best path to safeguarding Lebanon’s national interests,” Hezbollah said.
The statement concluded by emphasizing that national unity remains essential for confronting Israeli ambitions and preserving Lebanon’s sovereignty in the period ahead.

This historic achievement is the fruit of the legendary steadfastness, extraordinary resilience, and immense sacrifices made by the noble Iranian people and their wise leadership, who remained committed to national choices that preserve their dignity, sovereignty, and independence.

The Israeli enemy must understand that there will be no return to the situation that existed before March 2. The Resistance, which has always been and remains vigilant in defending the homeland and its people, will never accept any aggression that violates the sovereignty of the nation or sheds the blood of its people. The Resistance will remain committed to Lebanon’s legitimate and inalienable right to defend its land, people, and sovereignty until full withdrawal is achieved and all prisoners are returned.
Accordingly, we affirm that this stage requires the Lebanese state and all political forces to return to a unified national position in pursuit of the objectives upon which the Lebanese people agree—objectives that serve Lebanon’s interests, preserve its sovereignty, strength, and resilience, and protect it against the ambitions of the Israeli enemy. Wisdom demands a reassessment of the calculations and policies pursued by the authorities, drawing lessons from this experience and the many experiences our nation has endured, abandoning illusions and failed bets, and recognizing that a unified Lebanese position and reliance on true friends remain the best path to safeguarding Lebanon’s national interests.
