Hezbollah Chief: No Return to Previous Situation, Officials Must Stop Concessions
Hezbollah leader says Israel failed on the battlefield, vowing the Resistance will continue, reject concessions, and defend Lebanon’s sovereignty at all costs.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM — His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen and Secretary-General of Hezbollah, affirmed that the Israeli enemy has failed to impose its will on the battlefield, declaring that the Resistance remains firm and will not retreat or compromise under pressure.
In a message addressed to the steadfast people of Lebanon, Sheikh Qassem underscored that despite more than forty days of aggression, Israeli forces were unable to carry out the ground invasion they repeatedly threatened.
“The Israeli enemy has failed on the battlefield in confronting the brave heroes of the Resistance, and has not been able to carry out the ground invasion it repeatedly declared.”
He added that Israeli troops suffered heavy losses, with soldiers falling into ambushes and military vehicles destroyed across towns and villages, while resistance operations continued to strike deep into occupied territories, reaching as far as Haifa and beyond.
Forty Days of Failure Expose the Limits of U.S.–Israeli Power
Sheikh Qassem described the past weeks as a clear demonstration of the limits of Israeli and American military power, noting that despite overwhelming firepower, the enemy failed to stop rocket and drone operations targeting its settlements.
“Yet throughout more than forty days of aggression, it has failed to prevent rockets, shells, and drones from reaching its settlements, both near and far, as far as Haifa and beyond.”
He emphasized that the enemy’s shifting objectives—from seeking control of the Litani River to relying on destruction and firepower—reflected confusion and strategic failure.
For forty days, he said, the enemy has “accumulated failure,” while its settlements have been gripped by fear and instability.
Resistance Strength and Popular Support Break Enemy Ambitions
The Hezbollah Secretary-General highlighted the resilience of the Lebanese people and the strength of the Resistance frontlines, describing them as an unbreakable force that shattered Israeli ambitions.
“The enemy was taken by surprise by the methods of the Resistance, the flexibility of the fighters’ movements, their defensive capabilities, and their legendary courage.”
He praised the displaced civilians for their resilience and those who sheltered them for demonstrating the highest levels of humanity, stressing that the people’s unity has reinforced the Resistance’s position.
No Return to the Past: Resistance Rejects Concessions
Sheikh Qassem delivered a firm political message, rejecting any return to previous arrangements and calling on officials to halt concessions that undermine national sovereignty.
“We will not accept a return to the previous situation, and we call on officials to stop free concessions.”
He affirmed that the Resistance, together with the state, army, and people, will continue to defend Lebanon, restore its sovereignty, and expel the occupier.
Resistance Will Continue Until Victory
Reaffirming the unwavering determination of the Resistance, Sheikh Qassem declared that the struggle will persist regardless of threats or escalation.
“The Resistance will continue until the last breath.”
He stressed that the commitment of the youth to the battlefield represents hope and dignity, while sacrifices only deepen the resolve to achieve liberation.
Concluding his message, he invoked divine assurance of victory:
“Allah has decreed: I and My messengers shall prevail. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Mighty.” (PW)
