Israeli Warplanes Bomb Residential Areas in Bekaa
According to Lebanese sources, Israeli warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes late Friday, targeting the outskirts of Taminine near Baalbek in the Bekaa Valley. At least four residential buildings were struck during the attacks, causing widespread destruction.
Occupation forces also targeted key roads linking Riyaq and Baalbek, the Taminine–al-Tahta route, and the Qasr Naba plains, further endangering civilians and disrupting daily life.
Civilians Killed and Injured as Aggression Continues
Local sources reported that additional Lebanese civilians were killed and wounded in the strikes, underscoring what observers describe as Israel’s continued policy of collective punishment and indiscriminate violence.
As in previous attacks, the Israeli army claimed it was targeting Hezbollah positions in an attempt to justify its ongoing crimes against Lebanese civilians. The strikes resulted in the destruction of multiple residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.
Resistance Stands Firm Despite Escalation
The latest aggression comes amid the continued escalation of Israeli attacks across Lebanon, including earlier strikes on southern areas such as the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp.
Despite the intensifying assaults, Hezbollah has repeatedly stressed that Israeli aggression will only reinforce the resolve of the resistance and deepen Lebanon’s unity against occupation and aggression. (PW)
