Hamas: The Continued Crimes in Gaza Expose Netanyahu’s Lies About Reducing Attacks
The Movement condemns the escalation that killed 70 civilians in Gaza; calls on the international community and Arab–Islamic nations to act urgently to stop the genocide.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has condemned the continued crimes and horrific massacres committed by the Israeli occupation army against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, stressing that today’s bloody escalation exposes the falsehood of war criminal Netanyahu’s claims about reducing military operations against civilians.
In a statement issued Saturday evening, Hamas said that the relentless Israeli aggression — which since the morning has claimed the lives of 70 Palestinians, including women and children — clearly reveals the deception behind the Israeli government’s narrative and its attempt to whitewash its ongoing war of extermination.
A Bloody Day in Gaza
Since early Saturday, Israeli occupation forces have launched dozens of air and artillery strikes targeting multiple areas across Gaza.
Medical sources confirmed the arrival of 15 martyrs to Al-Shifa Hospital, 32 to Al-Ma’madani Hospital, 19 to Nasser Hospital, and two each to Al-Awda and Al-Aqsa Hospitals.
The latest massacres come in blatant disregard for the call by U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday night urging Israel to immediately halt the bombing of the Gaza Strip.
Hamas said that the persistence of these attacks, amid the supposed “reduction” in military activity claimed by Tel Aviv, demonstrates that the occupation government continues to deliberately target unarmed civilians and displaced families.
Appeal to the International and Islamic Community
Hamas renewed its call upon the international community, the Arab League, and Islamic nations to shoulder their legal and humanitarian responsibilities and to take urgent action to protect and assist the Palestinian people.
“We urge all international actors to move swiftly to end this genocidal war and the ongoing starvation campaign that has afflicted Gaza for two years,”
the statement said.
The movement also called on free people around the world to continue and intensify solidarity actions with the Palestinian people and to pressure the Zionist occupation to stop its aggression, massacres, and collective punishment against Gaza. (PW)
