Hamas: Occupation’s Arrests of Women and Academics Are Systematic Terrorism
The Movement condemns ongoing Zionist arrest campaign, calls for international accountability and intensified resistance
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” condemned the continuation of the Zionist arrest campaign targeting freed prisoners and academics, in addition to the arrest and interrogation of women and female university students.
Hamas considered in a statement issued today, Sunday, that these practices constitute “systematic terrorism” aimed at pressuring the Palestinian people.
The statement clarified that these repressive measures confirm the escalating policy of abuse practiced by the occupation, stressing that these policies will not succeed in intimidating the Palestinian people or breaking their will.
In a practical step, Hamas called on human rights institutions to document all these violations and detainees’ testimonies, stressing the importance of collecting this evidence to present it to international courts, with the aim of “holding enemy leaders accountable for their fascist crimes.”
Call for Global Solidarity and Resistance
The statement called on the free people of the world to continue demonstrating and showing solidarity with our oppressed Palestinian people, and to escalate pressure to stop the enemy’s crimes and brutal violations.
It also called on the Palestinian people to intensify jihad and resistance in all its forms against the occupier and its settlers, who practice the ugliest forms of savagery and abuse against our people throughout the occupied West Bank. (PW)
