Hamas: Netanyahu Has No Intention of Ending Gaza War
The Palestinian resistance movement accuses the Israeli prime minister of sabotaging negotiations and dragging his military into a futile, escalating conflict amid battlefield failures.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas issued a stern warning on Monday, stating that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has no intention of reaching a ceasefire agreement to end the ongoing genocidal assault on the besieged Gaza Strip.
In its official statement, Hamas accused the “criminal Netanyahu” of plunging both his army and the entire Israeli entity into a futile war that lacks any clear outcome.
“Netanyahu is skilled at thwarting one round of negotiations after another, and is unwilling to reach any agreement,” the statement read.
Hamas emphasized that the so-called “absolute victory” Netanyahu continues to promote is a dangerous illusion meant to cover up a significant defeat both on the battlefield in Gaza and in the political arena.
Resistance Momentum Grows as Israeli Forces Struggle
Hamas also highlighted the success of its ongoing resistance, describing it as a “war of attrition” that continuously surprises the Israeli military with innovative field tactics.
These operations, the group noted, are forcing Israeli forces to lose the initiative and become increasingly disoriented, despite their advantages in firepower and aerial dominance.
The longer the war drags on, Hamas warned, the deeper the Israeli occupation army sinks into the shifting sands of Gaza, becoming more exposed to precision and qualitative strikes by the resistance.
Underscoring this, Israeli reserve Major-General Yitzhak Brik told the Hebrew-language Maariv newspaper that Hamas has effectively regained its pre-war strength, now boasting approximately 40,000 fighters—mirroring its numbers before the war began.
Brik described the situation on the ground for Israeli troops as “grim,” directly contradicting Israeli official narratives of military progress.
In recent days, Palestinian resistance fighters have reportedly killed and injured dozens of Israeli forces through coordinated ambushes, even as Israel intensifies its military aggression across the besieged territory. (PW)
