Hamas Issues Grave Warning of Israeli Ethnic Cleansing in Gaza
Hamas appeals for urgent intervention, holding Washington responsible for shielding Israel from accountability.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has issued a grave warning, declaring that more than one million residents of Gaza City are facing ethnic cleansing and forced displacement under continuous Israeli bombardment.
In a statement released on Saturday, the movement said the brutality unleashed by the occupation has now surpassed that of Nazism. It stated that ‘Israel’ is bombarding residential towers, schools, and shelters with unprecedented ferocity.
Call for Global Action
Hamas urged people worldwide to “take to the streets and public squares” in solidarity with Gaza until the genocide is halted.
It appealed to the international community — particularly Arab and Islamic nations — to act urgently to uphold humanitarian law.
The group also held the US administration responsible for providing unconditional political cover to “Israel,” accusing Washington of shielding leaders of what it described as a fascist occupation from accountability.
Admissions of Mass Killing
The warning follows remarks by former Israeli occupation forces Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, who admitted that over 200,000 Palestinians have been killed or injured in Gaza.
Halevi revealed that military operations faced no legal restrictions, saying: “Not once has anyone restricted me.”
Within the past 24 hours, hospitals in Gaza reported receiving 47 martyrs and 205 wounded. Many more remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, unreachable due to constant bombardment and the targeting of rescue teams.
The cumulative death toll has now risen to 64,803, with 164,264 wounded since October 7, 2023.
Famine and Aid as Weapons
Hamas stressed that famine and aid have been turned into tools of war. Over 420 Palestinians — 145 of them children — have died from what it called “Israeli-manufactured famine.”
Additionally, 2,484 Palestinians have been killed and 18,117 wounded while seeking humanitarian aid, underscoring what Hamas described as genocidal policies.
Scale of Destruction
The destruction in Gaza is unprecedented. According to UN estimates, 92% of all residential buildings have been damaged or destroyed. Since August 6 alone, “Israel” has destroyed more than 1,000 buildings in Gaza City.
The occupation has also bombed 181 shelter and displacement centers. Recent massacres included the attack on Al-Zaytoun School, where 22 Palestinians — among them 13 children and six women — were martyred. Other targets included Kfar Qasim School in al-Shati refugee camp and Al-Farabi School near al-Yarmouk Stadium. (PW)
