Hamas Eid al-Adha Message Calls on Arab and Islamic Nations to Unite for Gaza
Hamas urges the Islamic Ummah to intensify solidarity, break the siege on Gaza, and support Palestinian steadfastness amid ongoing Israeli aggression.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM — The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called on the Arab and Islamic nations to transform the days of Eid al-Adha into a moment of unity, solidarity, and intensified support for the Palestinian people amid the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza.
In a statement released on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, Hamas said the holiday arrives this year while Gaza continues to suffer under what it described as a campaign of genocide, starvation, siege, and forced displacement that has persisted for more than two and a half years.
The movement stated that the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza continues to worsen as the Zionist regime maintains its assault on the Strip while simultaneously expanding settlement and displacement plans in the occupied West Bank and Al-Quds.
According to the statement, the occupation authorities continue to shut border crossings and prevent the entry of humanitarian, medical, and relief aid into Gaza, while escalating attacks against the Palestinian people, their land, and Islamic holy sites.
Hamas congratulated the Palestinian people inside and outside Palestine on the arrival of Eid al-Adha, expressing hope that the occasion would strengthen unity, solidarity, and collective steadfastness until the liberation of the land and holy sites, foremost among them Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Calls for Arab and Islamic Mobilization
Hamas also extended Eid greetings to the Arab and Islamic Ummah, including leaders, peoples, and pilgrims performing Hajj, while urging them to intensify practical initiatives to support the Palestinian people and alleviate the suffering in Gaza.
The movement called for escalating all forms of solidarity with Gaza in order to break the siege, reopen the crossings, and end the occupation.
It further reaffirmed its unity with resistance movements and with what it described as the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, Al-Quds, the occupied territories, and refugee camps across the region and diaspora.
Steadfastness Despite Siege and War
Hamas stressed the importance of preserving the spirit of Eid, joy, and takbir despite the ongoing war, siege, and suffering imposed on the Palestinian people.
The movement emphasized the need to remain committed to the path of steadfastness and resistance until the liberation of Palestinian land, holy sites, and prisoners.
In the statement Hamas expressed confidence in what it called “Allah’s promise and victory for the steadfast and patient believers.” (PW)
