Hamas Condemns U.S. Congressman’s Call for Nuclear Strike on Gaza
The Movement Decries “Randy Fine’s” Incendiary Speech as Fascist, Genocidal, and a Grave Violation of International Law
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has strongly condemned remarks made by U.S. Republican Congressman Randy Fine, who openly called for the use of nuclear weapons against the Gaza Strip in what the group described as a speech "filled with hatred and incitement to genocide."
In a statement issued Friday evening, Hamas labeled the extremist call as a “full-fledged crime” and a clear reflection of the fascist and racist mindset that governs certain American politicians.
The movement stressed that such rhetoric demands immediate condemnation by both the U.S. administration and Congress, especially as Congress has become a platform for justifying and encouraging the crimes of the Israeli occupation—most notably by hosting war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu.
Violation of International Law and Humanity’s Conscience
Hamas emphasized that Fine’s statements constitute a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, representing a dangerous public incitement to deploy weapons of mass destruction against more than two million civilians in Gaza.
Concluding its statement, Hamas affirmed that despite these barbaric calls, the resilience and faith of the Palestinian people in the justice of their cause remain unshaken. On the contrary, such remarks only further expose the true face of the Zionist occupation and its backers. (PW)
