Ghalibaf: Iran Ready to Reveal New Cards on the Battlefield
Tehran rejects negotiations under blockade, warning U.S. actions aim to force surrender rather than enable meaningful dialogue.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that Washington is attempting to turn diplomacy into a tool of coercion, emphasizing that Iran will not negotiate under threats and is preparing to unveil “new cards” on the battlefield.
In a message published on social media, Ghalibaf said Donald Trump is using blockade measures and ceasefire violations to impose political outcomes.
“Trump, by imposing a siege and violating the ceasefire, seeks— in his own imagination— to turn the negotiating table into a table of surrender, or to justify renewed warmongering,” he wrote.
He stressed that Iran rejects negotiations conducted under pressure.
“We do not accept negotiations under the shadow of threats, and in the past two weeks, we have prepared to reveal new cards on the battlefield,” he added.
Tehran Rejects Talks Under Current Conditions
The remarks come as Iran maintains its position of not participating in negotiations under the current circumstances, particularly while a naval blockade remains in place.
Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, underscored that trust remains a central issue in any engagement with Washington.
“Honoring commitments is the basis of meaningful dialogue. Deep historical mistrust toward U.S. government conduct remains,” he said.
He added that contradictory and unconstructive signals from American officials carry a clear message.
“They seek Iran’s surrender. Iranians do not submit to force,” Pezeshkian stated.
No Talks Under Pressure
Iran has made clear that negotiations under current conditions—marked by continued blockade and what it describes as unrealistic demands—are not acceptable.
Officials have emphasized that participation in talks remains contingent on changes in these conditions, indicating that Tehran will not engage in a process it views as shaped by pressure rather than mutual understanding.
As tensions persist, Iran’s stated readiness to “reveal new cards” signals that developments on the ground may shape the next phase of the confrontation.
