General Mousavi: IRGC Missiles and Drones Have Locked Onto U.S. Targets, Awaiting Order to Fire
Iran says its missiles and drones are locked onto U.S. targets and enemy vessels, awaiting orders to fire, after Tehran said it had already answered all American provocations in Hormuz
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Mousavi, said Iran’s missiles and drones have locked onto U.S. targets across the region and the ships of what he described as the invading enemy, and are awaiting the order to launch.
In an official message carried by Iranian media, Mousavi said the IRGC Aerospace Force’s offensive systems are on full operational alert.
“The missiles and drones of the IRGC Aerospace Force have locked onto American targets in the region and the ships of the invading enemy. We are awaiting the order to fire,” he said.
The statement marks one of Iran’s most direct military warnings since tensions escalated between Tehran and Washington in the Strait of Hormuz.
IRGC Navy Warns of Heavy Retaliation
In a parallel warning, the IRGC Navy said any attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s oil tankers or commercial vessels would trigger a major military response.
“Warning! Any aggression against Iranian oil tankers and commercial vessels will be met with a heavy attack against one of the American centers in the region and enemy ships,” said the IRGC Navy command.
According to the statement, any aggression against Iranian shipping would be met with heavy strikes against a U.S. military facility in the region and enemy vessels.
The warning underscored Tehran’s view that the security of Iranian maritime trade constitutes a strategic red line.
Ali Safari: Iran Has Responded to All U.S. Provocations
In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Ali Safari, adviser to the spokesperson of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, said the Islamic Republic has already responded to all U.S. “provocative actions” in the Strait of Hormuz.
Safari said Tehran currently has no trust in Washington, despite receiving messages through various channels indicating that the United States does not seek military escalation.
“Iran has responded to all U.S. provocative actions in the Strait of Hormuz,” he said.
He added that the Islamic Republic remains prepared for all possible scenarios on the ground.
Grand Mufti of Oman Calls for Support for Iran and Gaza
Amid rising regional tensions, Sheikh Ahmed al-Khalili, Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, called on Muslims to stand in solidarity with Iran and Gaza.
He said the Islamic Ummah is one nation and must unite in the face of aggression against Iran, Gaza, and all Muslim lands.
The coordinated statements from IRGC commanders, Foreign Ministry officials, and leading Islamic scholars indicate that Tehran is combining military preparedness, diplomatic firmness, and growing regional support as it confronts pressure from the United States and Israel.
With missiles and drones locked onto U.S. targets, warnings of strikes on enemy bases and vessels, and clear declarations that Iran is prepared for every contingency, the Islamic Republic has delivered a stark message that any new act of aggression will be met with a swift and forceful response.
