GLOBAL DESK — The so-called “allies” of the United States have once again bent the knee to Washington’s blatant blackmail. On October 2, the G7 nations announced the massive release of up to 100 million barrels of emergency oil and diesel stocks over the next four months. This desperate capitulation comes as the US attempts to shield its domestic economy from the crippling shortages and record-high prices triggered by its own aggressive and failing war on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Led by French President Emmanuel Macron—who currently chairs the G7—the coordinated dump of reserves via the International Energy Agency (IEA) was directly forced by coercive threats from Washington. Facing domestic backlash from American farmers and truckers, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent demanded that Europe bear the brunt of the global diesel shortage. The arrogant American administration, under President Donald Trump, even threatened to completely ban diesel exports to France and Germany unless the European vassals rapidly depleted their own emergency reserves, pressuring the EU to hand over 120 million barrels within six months.
The response from Brussels perfectly encapsulates the pathetic, subservient state of modern Europe. While European Commission spokesperson Anna-Kaisa Itkonen publicly whined that the EU “fully rejected” the US threats, calling a potential export ban a breach of “trust” in a “reliable partner,” the reality on the ground shows total submission. EU trade chief Maros Sefcovic warned of “dramatic consequences,” yet within 24 hours of Trump’s threats, the G7 folded. The supposedly “sovereign” European states chose to drain their own strategic reserves rather than face the economic wrath of their American overlords.
The panic in the West highlights the strategic miscalculation and hubris of the American war machine. The aggressive economic and military campaigns waged by Washington and the Zionist entity have only succeeded in destabilising global energy markets and exposing the fragility of Western alliances.
Adding to the West’s humiliation, China—refusing to be drawn into the crises manufactured by Global Arrogance—has suspended its refined fuel exports for October to rebuild its own reserves. While the US forces its European vassals to bleed for its own economic survival, independent nations are securing their own strategic interests, leaving the imperialist powers to drown in the inevitable consequences of their own warmongering.
