Furious Over Epstein Email Leak, Trump Accuses Democrats of Spreading a Hoax
The president dismisses the leaked emails as politically motivated fabrication, while both parties escalate a bitter fight over the Epstein Files.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Following the release of private Jeffrey Epstein emails suggesting Donald Trump “knew about the girls” and spent time with a trafficking victim, Washington erupted into a bipartisan scramble to deny responsibility, redirect blame, and control the fallout.
While Trump and Republicans called the revelations politically motivated “fabrications,” Democratic leaders — despite demanding transparency — also moved defensively, seeking distance from the broader implications of the Epstein Files.
Trump Issues Forceful Denial, Calls Revelations a “Hoax”
President Trump dismissed the email disclosures in his Truth Social as Hoax:
“Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again.”
He insisted that the scandal was engineered to distract from the government shutdown.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt echoed the message, calling the emails:
“a manufactured hoax by the Democratic Party.”
Leavitt identified the redacted victim as Virginia Giuffre — who accused Epstein and Maxwell, but publicly said Trump treated her professionally.
The administration’s line remained unwavering:
“These emails prove absolutely nothing.”
Despite the forceful tone, critics said the White House appeared more focused on political damage control than confronting the content of the emails.
Republicans responded swiftly by publishing their own tranche of 23,000 documents, accusing Democrats of “cherry-picking” emails “to generate clickbait.”
White House Dismisses Revelations as a “Manufactured Hoax”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt rejected the emails as “a manufactured hoax by the Democratic Party.”
She said the goal was to distract from the shutdown debate.
Leavitt identified the unnamed victim in one redacted message as the late Virginia Giuffre, who accused Epstein and Maxwell but not Trump:
“Ms. Giuffre… maintained that there was nothing inappropriate she ever witnessed, that President Trump was always extremely professional and friendly to her.”
She added:
“These emails proved absolutely nothing other than the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong.”
Democrats Accuse the White House of Concealment
Democratic lawmakers insist the emails raise serious questions about what else is being withheld.
Committee ranking member Robert Garcia said:
“The more Donald Trump tries to cover up the Epstein files, the more we uncover.”
Representative Ro Khanna echoed the call for transparency, noting he is working with Republican Thomas Massie to force a vote on publicly releasing the full files.
Senator Amy Klobuchar wrote on X:
“Americans deserve the full truth.”
House Speaker Mike Johnson has also been accused by Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries of delaying the swearing-in of a new member to block the vote:
“Republicans are running a pedophile protection program.”
Republicans Release Emails Showing Epstein Tracking Trump’s Movements
A competing release by Republicans included roughly 20,000 pages of correspondence showing Epstein’s continued interest in Trump long after their friendship ended.
Epstein’s pilot, Larry Visoski, regularly updated him on Trump’s travel schedule from 2016 to 2018, noting overlapping flight times and airport closures due to Secret Service activity.
Emails With Larry Summers
In a 2018 exchange with former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, Epstein wrote:
“Trump – borderline insane. dersh, a few feet further from the border but not by much.”
Summers replied:
“Will Trump crack into insanity?”
Epstein responded:
“He feels alone, and is nuts !!! … evil beyond belief mad, and most thought I was speaking metaphorically.”
A White House spokesperson, Abigail Jackson, downplayed the emails:
“These emails prove literally nothing.”
Lingering Questions and Mounting Pressure
Epstein’s communications reveal he remained fixated on Trump’s activities years after distancing himself from him, tracking his movements and forwarding news about his controversies.
Democrats argue the pattern strengthens the case for full public disclosure of the “Epstein Files.” Republicans say the material is being weaponized to damage Trump.
For now, the controversy shows no sign of abating as both parties escalate accusations — and the shadow of Epstein continues to loom over Washington.
Despite their public fight, both Republicans and Democrats have one thing in common:
Neither is eager to open the full Epstein archive to public scrutiny.
For Trump, the emails pose obvious political risks. For Democrats, the files contain names, connections, and relationships that could prove equally damaging.
The result is a political storm defined less by truth than by competing attempts to redirect, distort, and deny. (PW)
