Expert: Yemen Become Regional Decision-Maker, Operations Display Comprehensive Superiority
Brigadier General Omar Marabuni said that Yemen has entered the circle of global decision-makers, combining precision intelligence with advanced weaponry to impose new realities at sea.
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Military and strategic expert Brigadier General Omar Marabuni stressed that the latest Yemeni naval operation reflects not only military might but also political weight.
“Yemen has now become part of the circle of decision-makers in geopolitics,” he said, adding that “the fire of Yemen now reaches exactly where it must.”
Marabuni emphasized that such operations are not random attacks, but highly sophisticated missions requiring precise intelligence, advanced weaponry, and accurate execution.
He explained that targeting a specific vessel in international waters — whether in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, or the Gulf of Aden — demands extremely refined intelligence and modern precision-guided munitions.
He further noted that Yemen today commands a formidable arsenal of cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, drones, and naval strike capabilities, while its armed forces have consistently demonstrated high-level coordination, leadership, and operational control
.
Psychological and Economic Pressure on the Enemy
According to Marabuni, the operations are designed for strategic effect rather than sheer quantity.
“One well-placed missile or drone is enough to create exhaustion, fear, and panic within the Zionist entity,” he asserted.
He estimated that Yemen is capable of carrying out between 50 and 70 naval or naval-ballistic operations within a given period, but deliberately employs gradual escalation to maximize both psychological and political impact.
The expert added that many international companies continue to navigate through waters monitored by Yemen because they are confident the Armed Forces only target vessels explicitly linked to the Israeli enemy. This selective enforcement, combined with economic risk assessments, effectively compels corporations into compliance.
Exposing US and Israeli Narratives
Addressing Western claims that Iran provides Yemen with weaponry, Marabuni dismissed them as propaganda designed to conceal the failures of Israel and its allies.
He stressed that Yemen’s domestic arms industry has advanced significantly despite years of blockade, leaving American and Israeli officials scrambling for excuses to justify their inability to suppress Yemen’s progress.
A New Maritime Equation
The strike on the MINERVAGRACHT, he concluded, is far more than a tactical operation — it is a strategic signal. It demonstrates that Yemen has become a decisive player in the maritime balance of power, capable of imposing tangible costs on the Zionist entity and its partners.
As Western naval missions falter, and as companies reconsider the risks of defying Yemeni bans, the Gulf of Aden, the Red Sea, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait have effectively transformed into arenas where Yemen dictates the rules of engagement. (PW)
