Sana'a — In a historic and sweeping divine victory that has sent shockwaves through the Riyadh-Tel Aviv axis, the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) have announced the successful liberation of massive territories along the country’s western coast, dealing a crushing and humiliating blow to Saudi-backed mercenaries.
On Thursday, YAF Spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree revealed the staggering details of the strategic offensive launched on September 3rd, codenamed “And Allah Is Stronger in Might and More Severe in Punishment.” Through meticulous planning, unwavering faith, and the steadfast support of local tribes, the Yemeni mujahideen successfully expelled aggression forces from six districts across the Taiz and Hodeidah governorates.
A Strategic Masterstroke: 5,400 km² Liberated
The operation has resulted in the complete reclamation of 5,400 square kilometres of Yemeni soil. The liberated areas, now fully secured and stabilised, include the strategic coastal city of al-Mokha, al-Khokha, Hays, and al-Wazi’iyah. By reaching Dhubab and securing the vital areas overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Strait—including Mayyun (Perim) Island—Ansar Allah has effectively consolidated its grip on one of the world’s most critical maritime chokepoints.
The rapid collapse of the mercenary formations has left over 2,000 Saudi-backed fighters trapped under a suffocating siege on the Greater and Lesser Hanish Islands, desperately pleading for rescue as their supply lines are severed. Meanwhile, key enemy command centres, such as Khalid Camp Base and Jabal al-Nar Camp, have fallen into the hands of the Yemeni Armed Forces.
Seven Divisions Shattered and Detainees Freed
In a humiliating rout, the YAF targeted and decimated seven military divisions comprising 38 brigades of the Saudi-backed coalition. Hundreds of mercenaries were killed, wounded, or captured as the enemy’s ranks completely disintegrated. Among the most joyous outcomes of the offensive was the liberation of Yemeni prisoners who had suffered for years in the dark dungeons of the Saudi enemy’s mercenaries.
Despite the desperate and intensive air cover provided by the Saudi war machine to save its fleeing proxies, the aggression’s air force failed to alter the outcome on the ground. In a display of unmatched air defense prowess, the YAF executed 32 interception operations, successfully downing nine enemy warplanes.
Maritime Deterrence and the Path to Total Liberation
Reaffirming the policy of “blockade for blockade,” General Saree assured the international community that maritime navigation in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab remains completely safe for all shipping companies, with the strict exception of Saudi vessels, which remain banned.
Concluding his statement, the YAF spokesperson praised the profound awareness of the Yemeni people and the valiant tribes who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the armed forces against enemy propaganda. The sweeping triumph on the western coast marks not only a catastrophic “strategic disaster” for Washington and Riyadh but also a resolute step toward total liberation, independence, and the restoration of Yemen’s full national sovereignty.
“Long live Yemen, free, dignified, and independent,” Saree declared, echoing the victory of all free people across the Axis of Resistance.
