Cuba Warns Trump: Any Aggression Will Be Met Across Every Inch of Our Land
Havana condemns escalating U.S. threats as “dangerous and unprecedented,” vowing full resistance while reaffirming support for Palestine and regional resistance movements.
Havana, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel issued a stark warning in response to escalating threats from U.S. President Donald Trump, declaring that Cuba will respond to any act of aggression across “every inch” of its territory.
Speaking amid rising tensions, Díaz-Canel described Washington’s military threats as “dangerous and unprecedented,” emphasizing that the Cuban nation remains firmly committed to defending its sovereignty and independence against external pressure.
Cuba Rejects U.S. Threats, Vows Total Resistance
Díaz-Canel stated that the United States has elevated its threats of military aggression against Cuba to an alarming level, warning that such actions will not go unanswered.
“No aggressor—no matter how powerful—will ever witness Cuba’s surrender,” he said, stressing that any attempt at military intervention would be met with determined resistance from the Cuban people.
He underscored that Cuba stands ready to defend its land “in every inch,” reflecting what he described as the nation’s unwavering resolve in the face of political and economic pressure.
Havana Condemns U.S. Pressure as Political Coercion
The Cuban president also criticized recent U.S. measures, describing them as a clear attempt to impose a specific political model on Cuba through economic pressure.
He questioned whether the international community would allow what he characterized as a “criminal and dangerous act” to proceed merely to serve the interests of a wealthy and influential minority in the United States.
Cuba Reaffirms Support for Palestine and Resistance Movements
In his remarks, Díaz-Canel reiterated Cuba’s continued support for Palestine, the rights of the Lebanese people, and regional resistance movements.
He also reaffirmed Havana’s backing of the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela and its support for President Nicolás Maduro, framing these positions as part of Cuba’s broader commitment to sovereignty and anti-imperialism. (PW)
