NEW DELHI — In a glaring betrayal of its anti-colonial history and the global Muslim Ummah, Narendra Modi’s extremist Hindu nationalist regime in New Delhi has fully embraced the Zionist entity, supplying arms and diplomatic cover for the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Following the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7, 2023, which shattered the illusion of Zionist invincibility, the occupying entity unleashed a campaign of unprecedented butchery against Palestinian civilians. While much of the world—including several hypocritical Western nations—has been forced to condemn the war crimes and impose minor restrictions on settler violence, India has shamelessly doubled down on its partnership with the occupying regime. Reports confirm that New Delhi has not only continued as the Zionist entity’s largest buyer of military hardware but has actively exported weapons to fuel the slaughter in Gaza.
This unholy alliance is rooted in a shared ideology of ethnic cleansing and religious supremacy. Analysts note that the Hindutva ideology of Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)—which seeks to transform secular India into an exclusive Hindu homeland—closely mirrors the Zionist project in occupied Palestine. Both regimes utilise a fabricated narrative of “Islamic terrorism” to justify the brutal subjugation, marginalisation, and state-sponsored violence against Muslims. By equating the legitimate resistance of Palestinians with the 2008 Mumbai attacks, Modi provides the Zionist regime with a moral alibi for its atrocities, just as he uses the “fight against terror” to terrorise India’s own massive Muslim minority.
The current Indian government’s pivot marks a dark stain on a nation that once stood as a beacon of anti-imperialism. In 1948, India fiercely opposed the illegal partition of Palestine and the creation of the Zionist regime. It was the first non-Arab state to recognise the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) and, in 1975, championed the historic UN resolution equating Zionism with racism. Today, those principles have been traded for defence contracts and intelligence-sharing with Tel Aviv.
While Europe and Canada face domestic pressure to sanction Zionist ministers like Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich for their genocidal rhetoric and settler violence, New Delhi remains silent, prioritising its strategic subservience to Western and Zionist interests. For the Axis of Resistance and the global free people, India’s complicity serves as a stark reminder: the battle against global arrogance and its apartheid allies requires unwavering solidarity, as the enemies of humanity continue to unite against the oppressed.
