USA — In a damning revelation of Western corporate complicity in the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, leaked internal documents have exposed US technology giant Cisco’s concerted efforts to expand and preserve its military contracts with the Zionist entity.
According to documents obtained by The Guardian, Cisco mobilised senior executives and technical teams throughout the Gaza genocide to ensure the seamless operation of the occupation’s military intelligence apparatus. Rather than divesting from a regime committing war crimes, the tech conglomerate worked behind the scenes to repair failing military networks and aggressively pursue new deals with Israeli state institutions into 2026.
A confidential Cisco memo from September 2025 detailed repeated technical failures and system crashes that plagued the networks used by the occupation’s military intelligence directorate, known as Aman. Revealing its corporate priorities, the memo complained that these outages “deeply impacted customer sentiment” and “severely impacted critical operations” during the period of the brutal war on Gaza.
Far from scaling back, Cisco-owned data platform Splunk pitched for a role in the controversial Project Nimbus—a massive cloud computing contract between the Zionist regime, Google, and Amazon—in 2026, signalling a deeper integration of Silicon Valley infrastructure into the occupation’s war machine.
The exposure has sparked severe backlash from within the company. ‘Bridge to Humanity’, an advocacy group comprising current and former Cisco employees, condemned the company’s leadership for its blatant hypocrisy. While Cisco executives publicly dismissed employee concerns regarding the company’s role in enabling the slaughter of Palestinians, they were simultaneously doing everything in their power to protect their blood money.
“While Cisco leadership was constantly dismissing our concerns about how it was enabling the horrors we were witnessing,” the group stated, “they were behind the scenes going above and beyond to actively continue to expand their business relationship with the [occupation] military and ensure they did not lose a cent of business.”
These leaks further unmask the moral bankruptcy of Western tech corporations, demonstrating that for companies like Cisco, profit margins and military contracts with the architects of the Gaza genocide will always supersede human rights, international law, and global outrage.
