GAZA CITY — The blood of Palestinian civilians continues to stain the streets of the besieged Gaza Strip, exposing the hollow promises of Western diplomacy and the deep-seated betrayal by Arab capitals. Amid renewed international talk of ceasefire enforcement, the Zionist regime has launched a fresh wave of massacres, slaughtering civilians and civil servants while relying on the complicity of regional actors and the absolute cover of the United States.
In a span of 24 hours, Israeli forces carried out two brazen attacks that have once again demonstrated the occupying entity’s disregard for human life and international agreements. An Israeli drone strike targeted a crowded café near the port of Gaza City, martyring at least six Palestinians—including a child—and wounding over a dozen others. Simultaneously, a brutal airstrike hit a civil police station in central Gaza, killing at least nine Palestinians, including police officers and children, and injuring more than 15.
These latest atrocities bring the grim death toll of the ongoing Zionist genocide, which began in October 2023, to more than 73,400 Palestinians.
Yemen’s Stern Rebuke: The Treachery of Complicit Regimes
The latest wave of carnage has drawn fierce condemnation from the Axis of Resistance, with the Yemeni Foreign Ministry issuing a blistering statement that places the blame not only on the Tel Aviv regime but squarely on the shoulders of passive and complicit Arab governments.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Yemeni ministry declared that the continuation of Israeli barbarity is directly enabled by the “inaction and complicity of some Arab regimes and certain political parties in the region.” Sana’a made it unequivocally clear that mere statements of condemnation from Arab capitals are no longer sufficient, demanding that these regimes be held accountable for their role in facilitating the ongoing genocide.
The Yemeni Foreign Ministry also ruthlessly dismantled the illusion of American mediation, specifically referencing the futility of relying on Washington to restrain its Zionist proxy.
“Anyone who relies on Americans to cease the crimes of the Israeli enemy is just like someone who seeks shelter from the scorching sun and finds himself inside a raging fire,” the statement read. Sana’a noted that Washington has effectively given the Zionists a “carte blanche” to commit daily massacres, proving that the US remains the primary sponsor of the genocide rather than a defender of Palestinian rights.
Hamas: Targeting Civil Infrastructure is a Calculated War Crime
As the bodies of martyrs were carried from the rubble, Hamas political leader and chief negotiator Khalil al-Hayya issued a dire warning regarding the strategic intent behind the Israeli escalation. Hayya strongly condemned the airstrike on the Gaza police station, categorising it as a blatant “war crime” designed to dismantle the foundations of civil stability in the Strip.
Hamas dismissed the Israeli military’s predictable and “misleading” claims that the strike targeted resistance leaders, describing the assault as a deliberate attack on civil security apparatuses. The resistance movement underscored that the systematic targeting of civil police is a calculated move to foster chaos, spread instability, and ultimately serve the Zionist regime’s long-standing schemes for the forced displacement of the Palestinian people.
According to Hayya, these repeated attacks prove that the occupying regime is aggressively pursuing its agenda without any regard for diplomatic efforts, existing mediations, or international guarantees.
Hayya placed the onus on international mediators and guarantor states to intervene immediately. He warned that without urgent and tangible international pressure to force Israel to halt its aggression, the current Gaza ceasefire agreement faces imminent collapse, which will inevitably trigger a renewed and devastating cycle of confrontation.
The Duplicity of the Kushner-Netanyahu Axis
What makes these latest massacres particularly egregious is the diplomatic context in which they occurred. Both the Yemeni Foreign Ministry and Hamas noted that these deadly strikes took place immediately following lengthy talks between Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Jared Kushner—Donald Trump’s son-in-law and current US West Asia envoy.
While mediators and guarantors were supposedly working to enforce the provisions of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, the American envoy’s presence in the region seemingly served as a smokescreen for further Zionist atrocities. The message from the resistance is clear: American-led diplomacy in West Asia is not a mechanism for peace, but a tool for managing the occupation and pacifying the Arab masses while the slaughter continues.
As Gaza buries its dead, the contrast between the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance and the moral bankruptcy of the American-Zionist-normalisation axis has never been starker. The blood spilt at the Gaza port and the central police station serves as a grim testament to the fact that true security and justice for Palestine will never be granted by the very architects of its destruction, nor by the Arab palaces that have chosen silence over solidarity.
