In a message addressed to the 59th Annual Meeting of the Union of Islamic Student Associations in Europe, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized that Iran’s resistance-based path has shaken the foundations of arrogant powers led by the United States and its regional extensions, including the Israeli regime.
US Military Aggression Defeated by Iranian Youth
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that Iran has gained renewed international credibility and stature through faith, unity, and self-confidence, stressing that recent events have exposed the weakness of American military power when confronted by a determined and faithful nation.
“The heavy military aggression of the American army and its disgraceful extension in this region was defeated by the initiative, courage, and sacrifice of the youth of Islamic Iran,” he said.
According to the Leader, this outcome proved that the Iranian nation—by relying on its own capabilities, faith, and righteous action—can stand firmly against corrupt and oppressive arrogant powers and project Islamic values to the world with unprecedented clarity and strength.
Martyrdom Will Not Halt the Path of Resistance
Referring to the martyrdom of Iranian scientists, military commanders, and civilians, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that these sacrifices have not weakened the nation’s resolve.
“The deep sorrow caused by the martyrdom of a number of scientists, commanders, and dear members of our people has not been able—and will not be able—to stop the determined youth of Iran,” he said.
He added that the families of the martyrs themselves stand among the pioneers of the movement, reinforcing the continuity of resistance rather than diminishing it.
The Real Conflict: Challenging an Unjust Global Order
Rejecting Western narratives that frame tensions around technical or nuclear disputes, the Iranian leader made clear that the confrontation is fundamentally political and ideological.
“The issue is not the nuclear debate or similar matters,” he stated.
“The issue is confronting the unjust order and the domination of the system of arrogance in today’s world, and turning toward a just Islamic national and international order.”
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that Iran has raised the banner of this alternative vision—one rooted in justice and independence—and that it is precisely this stance that has enraged corrupt and oppressive global bullies.
Call to Muslim Students in Europe
Addressing Muslim students, particularly those living abroad, the Leader underlined their responsibility in advancing this historic mission.
“You students, especially those outside the country, carry a share of this great responsibility upon your shoulders,” he said.
He urged them to entrust their hearts to God, identify their capabilities, and guide their Islamic student associations toward confronting injustice and resisting domination.
Ayatollah Khamenei concluded his message with firm confidence in divine support and the certainty of victory for those who remain steadfast.

Dear youth,
This year, by the blessing of faith, unity, and self-confidence, your country attained a new credibility and stature in the world. The heavy aggression of the American army and its disgraceful appendage in this region was defeated by the initiative, courage, and sacrifice of the youth of Islamic Iran. It was proven that the Iranian nation, by making use of its own capabilities, under the shade of faith and righteous action, and in confrontation with corrupt and oppressive arrogant powers, can stand firm and convey the call to Islamic values to the world with a voice louder than ever before.
The deep sorrow caused by the martyrdom of a number of scientists, commanders, and some of our dear people has not been able—and will not be able—to stop the determined youth of Iran. The families of those martyrs themselves stand among the pioneers of this movement.
The issue is not the nuclear debate or matters of that kind. The issue is confronting the unjust order and the domination of the system of arrogance in today’s world, and turning toward a just Islamic national and international order. This is the great claim for which Islamic Iran has raised its banner, and it is this that has agitated corrupt and oppressive bullies.
You students, especially those outside the country, carry a share of this great responsibility upon your shoulders. Entrust your hearts to God, recognize your capabilities, and direct your associations toward this path.
