Ayatollah Khamenei to Hezbollah’s Chief: Iran’s Support for Resistance Remains Unshaken
Ayatollah Khamenei praises Hezbollah’s loyalty and reaffirms unwavering Iranian support for resistance against the United States and the usurping Zionist entity
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has sent a message to Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, expressing appreciation for his condolences and solidarity following the martyrdom of the great leader of the Islamic Revolution, and reaffirming that Iran’s support for the resistance remains unshaken.
The Lebanese Islamic Resistance announced that Ayatollah Khamenei, in his message, thanked Sheikh Naim Qassem for his sympathy and condolences, while also acknowledging the sentiments of love and loyalty expressed by Hezbollah’s mujahideen on his behalf.
Resistance Defined by Steadfastness and Sacrifice
In his message, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that “steadfastness and perseverance in the face of the most relentless enemies of the Islamic Ummah—the United States and the Zionist regime—stand among the most distinguished characteristics of the martyred Imam.”
He further highlighted the continuation of the resistance path throughout years of leadership, pointing to the sacrifices of great martyrs such as Qasem Soleimani and other senior commanders of the IRGC and the Army as clear testimony to the truthfulness of this path.
The Leader underscored that “the history of Islamic resistance is filled with struggle, courage, and sacrifice—where its leaders gave their lives in defense of the Ummah without fear of any threat.” He cited prominent Hezbollah figures, including Sheikh Ragheb Harb, Sayyed Abbas al-Mousawi, Hassan Nasrallah, and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, as enduring examples of this steadfast path.
Confidence in Hezbollah’s Leadership and Future
Addressing Sheikh Naim Qassem directly, Ayatollah Khamenei stated that “his virtue today lies in leading the movement at this sensitive moment in the history of the resistance,” expressing confidence in his intelligence, wisdom, and courage to thwart the enemy’s schemes, defeat them, and restore honor and prosperity to the people of Lebanon.
He concluded by reaffirming that the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran—rooted in the path of the late Imam and the martyred commander—will continue to support the resistance against the Zionist and American enemies, while wishing success for all mujahideen brothers.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
To my dear brother and trustworthy mujahid, my brother in Hezbollah,
His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem (may God prolong his life, honor, and well-being),Peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of Allah,
I have received your message of condolences on the martyrdom of the great leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as your letter conveying sentiments of love and compassion on behalf of the Lebanese mujahideen brothers in Hezbollah.
There is no doubt that the path of determination, steadfastness, and perseverance in the face of the fiercest enemies of the Islamic world—the United States and the usurping Zionist entity in the region—was among the most prominent characteristics of the martyred Imam and leader. This resistance and steadfastness continued throughout the years of his leadership, and it presented heroic martyrs such as Hajj Qassem Soleimani and other great commanders in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Army, as the clearest evidence of the authenticity of this path.
Undoubtedly, the history of the Islamic resistance has been filled with sacrifice, courage, and martyrdom. The leaders of this resistance, before the rest of the mujahideen, offered their lives in the path of this struggle without fearing any threat.
The leaders of the resistance in Hezbollah—from the martyr Sheikh Ragheb Harb and Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi, to the dear martyr, the master of the martyrs of the resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine—have all been exemplars of this path.
You, who have been at the forefront of this blessed resistance in Lebanon, now lead this movement at this critical juncture in the history of the resistance. I hope that, through your wisdom and courage, you will be able to thwart and crush the schemes of the Zionist enemy, and restore sacrifice and pride to the dear Lebanese people.
I reaffirm once again that the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran—firmly grounded in the path of the late Imam and the martyred leaders—remains committed to continuing support for the resistance against the American-Zionist enemy.
I sincerely thank you for your sentiments, and I wish success for you and all the dear mujahideen brothers.
