Ayatollah Khamenei: God Has Guaranteed Iran’s Victory Under the Banner of Islam
Ayatollah Khamenei praised Iran’s resilience in the war, urged unity beyond political or religious lines, called for serious legal action against Zionist crimes in domestic and international courts
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - On Wednesday morning, July 16, 2025 (25 Tir 1404), the President and senior officials of Iran’s Judiciary met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah in Tehran.
The meeting came amid intensified national and regional developments following the 12-day war between the Islamic Republic and the Zionist regime.
“Victory for the Iranian Nation Is Assured by God”
Ayatollah Khamenei opened his remarks by asserting a firm divine promise:
"Everyone should know that Almighty God has guaranteed victory for the Iranian nation under the Islamic system and beneath the banner of the Qur’an and Islam. The Iranian nation will definitely be victorious."
Call for Legal Action on Zionist Crimes
The Leader emphasized the need for the Judiciary to seriously pursue legal action, both domestically and internationally, regarding the latest crimes committed by the Zionist regime:
“This is among the most necessary and important tasks. In many previous cases, we were negligent. This time, we must not be. Even if it takes twenty years, we must follow it through and hold the criminals accountable.”
He noted that although international courts can be influenced by world powers, there are instances when independent judges prevail:
“One day a court may be biased, but another day you may find a judge who is independent. We must act with complete vigilance and strength.”
Iran’s Psychological and Strategic Victory in the 12-Day War
Ayatollah Khamenei described the Iranian nation’s response in the recent war as an exceptional demonstration of willpower, confidence, and national resolve:
“What the Iranian people achieved was not a mere military operation; it was a manifestation of will, determination, and self-confidence.”
He added that the readiness to confront America and its “chained dog” in the region—the Zionist regime—demonstrated a deeply rooted national strength:
“Iran used to tremble at the mention of the U.S. under the Pahlavi regime. Today, it instills fear in America.”
A Nation That Never Appears Weak
Ayatollah Khamenei underlined that the Iranian nation will never be the weaker side in any arena:
“We possess all the necessary tools—both logic and military strength. Whether in the diplomatic field or on the battlefield, we will enter fully equipped, by God’s grace.”
The Failed Calculations of the Enemy
The Leader stated that the enemy’s plan to weaken the Islamic Republic through targeted attacks and foment unrest had backfired:
“They miscalculated. Their hidden goals were exposed, and the people rallied behind the state and the system in both spirit and substance.”
He praised the spontaneous unity of people from different political and religious orientations:
“This remarkable national unity must be preserved—journalists, judges, government officials, clerics, and Friday prayer leaders all share this responsibility.”
Unity Beyond Political or Religious Differences
Ayatollah Khamenei clarified that political or religious diversity does not contradict national unity:
“Standing together in defense of truth, the country, and the system is not negated by different political tastes or levels of religious observance.”
He warned against unnecessary criticisms and sensationalism over minor issues:
“Clarifying misunderstandings is necessary, but amplifying trivial differences or dramatizing insignificant matters is harmful.”
Encourage Constructive Criticism, Avoid Baseless Objections
The Leader acknowledged the right to voice objections or criticisms but stressed they must be informed and respectfully delivered:
“Sometimes people speak without sufficient knowledge. Let objections be made with accurate information and an appropriate tone.”
Preserve Public Enthusiasm, Avoid Impatience
While praising the current energy and fervor among the youth, Ayatollah Khamenei warned against impatience and hasty expectations:
“The public’s enthusiasm is necessary, but stomping one’s feet and demanding immediate action is harmful.”
Importance of Direction in Military and Diplomatic Work
He called for the continued strength of military and diplomatic bodies, emphasizing the need for proper direction:
“Both fronts must work with full strength, and especially in diplomacy, direction and orientation must be carefully observed.”
Praise for the Judiciary and Its Role in Pursuing Justice
Ayatollah Khamenei expressed satisfaction with the Judiciary’s recent performance, while urging attention to unresolved issues:
“The results of these efforts must be seen in public trust. People should feel that whenever they face oppression, the Judiciary will solve their problem.”
He stressed that fighting corruption—both within and outside the Judiciary—is key to fostering public hope and confidence.
