Ayatollah Khamenei Urges the World to Keep Palestine at the Center, Don’t Let It Fade
There are biased global policies at work today that seek to erase the Palestinian issue from people’s minds. Muslim nations must not allow rumours, distractions, or irrelevance matters to cloud it
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, has issued a powerful call to the Muslim world to remain fully alert and focused on the Palestinian cause, warning against efforts to obscure or dilute its urgency amid the genocide unfolding in Gaza.
Speaking to a large gathering of workers from across Iran in Tehran on the occasion of Work and Workers' Week, Ayatollah Khamenei condemned the Israeli regime’s atrocities and denounced the silence or complicity of world powers—particularly the United States and the United Kingdom.
“These crimes being committed in Gaza and across Palestine cannot and must not be ignored,” the Leader declared.
“There are biased global policies at work today that seek to erase the Palestinian issue from people’s minds. Muslim nations must not allow rumors, distractions, or irrelevant matters to cloud the central issue of Palestine,” he added.
Western Powers Empowering Genocide
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza, are not only facing the Zionist occupation but also the full weight of Western powers backing it.
“The oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza are confronting not only the Zionist regime but also the United States and Britain. Instead of stopping the killing, they are sending weapons and equipment to support the criminal regime,” he said.
He urged the international community to adopt a clear and firm stance against both the Zionist entity and its global enablers. “The entire world must stand up firmly against the supporters of the Zionist regime. The U.S. is backing them in the truest sense of the word.”
Ayatollah Khamenei warned that mere slogans or temporary headlines must not cause the cause of Palestine to be forgotten.
“By God’s help, Palestine will ultimately triumph over the Zionist usurpers. The temporary reign of the forces of falsehood will perish,” he affirmed, urging the faithful to remain hopeful and steadfast in the face of oppression.

Gaza Death Toll Approaches 53,000
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, 23 Palestinians were killed and 124 others wounded over the past 24 hours as Israeli attacks continued. Since the launch of the assault on October 7, 2023, the death toll has climbed to 52,810, with a staggering 119,473 people injured.
Figures since March 18, 2025, alone reveal 2,701 martyrs and 7,432 wounded, underscoring the scale of the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe.
UN: Gaza on the Brink of Catastrophe
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk warned that "Israel’s" escalation of its military offensive marks a critical and perilous moment for civilians in Gaza.
“What we see is only more destruction, more hatred, more dehumanization,” Turk told AFP. “It’s a very dangerous moment for civilians.”
He emphasized the urgent need to end the war and demanded that the Israeli-imposed blockade on Gaza be lifted immediately.
Labor: A Pillar of Life and National Dignity
In the same address, Ayatollah Khamenei spoke about the profound spiritual and societal value of labor, describing workers as a vital force in sustaining both the economy and the moral foundation of the nation.
“Work is the main pillar of human life and its continuity. Without it, life becomes paralyzed,” he said. “Though science and capital are important, it is the worker who animates capital and makes progress possible.”
He called on Iranian workers to take pride in earning a lawful living, fulfilling societal needs through honest production and service, which he described as righteous in the sight of God.
Culture of Domestic Production and Workplace Harmony
Ayatollah Khamenei urged the development of a national culture that supports domestic production, calling for a deep-rooted commitment to purchasing homegrown consumer goods. This, he said, is essential to strengthening Iranian industry and protecting the dignity of the workforce.
Refuting Marxist notions of class conflict between labor and ownership, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized Islam’s vision of workplace harmony. “Islam sees the workplace not as a battlefield but as a space of synergy. Both worker and employer must cooperate sincerely for the greater cause of production,” he said.
He recalled how, in the early days of the Revolution, hostile elements attempted to incite unrest among workers—but were decisively rejected. “Our workers stood firm and delivered a punch to the mouth of the agitators,” he remarked.
Addressing current responsibilities, the Leader stressed the importance of job security and a healthy work environment: “A worker must know that his job is secure. Only then can he plan his life with confidence and dignity.” (PW)
