Araghchi: Iran Will Never Compromise on National Security
Tehran warns of consequences as it condemns Western double standards, escalating aggression, and the normalization of Zionist terrorism worldwide.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic will never compromise on the security of its people under any circumstances.
During a phone call with Sweden’s Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard, both sides discussed bilateral relations and consular issues. In the exchange, Araghchi strongly condemned what he described as Sweden’s regrettable support for an individual convicted of espionage for the Zionist regime.
He emphasized that Iran’s commitment to safeguarding its citizens remains absolute and non-negotiable.
Warning Against the Normalization of Zionist Terrorism
Araghchi issued a stark warning to the international community over what he described as the normalization of Zionist terrorist practices.
He stated that Israel shows no regard for the consequences of employing such methods, while the global community continues to ignore or tolerate these actions.
To illustrate the double standards, Araghchi posed a hypothetical scenario: if Iran were to openly declare assassination targets among U.S. leadership, it would trigger immediate global outrage, emergency UN sessions, sanctions, and even war—all justified under the banner of international law.
Yet, he argued, when Israel engages in similar conduct, those who claim to defend global order remain silent, ambiguous, or even complicit by providing political and military support.
“This is no longer mere hypocrisy,” Araghchi stressed. “It is a calculated collapse of morality, where rules apply only to adversaries, while immunity is reserved for allies.”
Regional Diplomacy Amid Escalation
Araghchi also held separate phone calls with the foreign ministers of Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan, focusing on the ongoing U.S.-Zionist aggression against Iran.
He described the attacks on Iran’s infrastructure as deliberate efforts to escalate tensions and destabilize the region. He warned that regional countries must remain vigilant and coordinated in confronting these threats.
Highlighting the broader implications, Araghchi stressed that the reckless and aggressive conduct of the United States and the Israeli regime carries dangerous consequences for the entire region.
Iran Vows Unyielding Response
Concluding his remarks, Araghchi made clear that Iran will not hesitate to defend its sovereignty and the security of its citizens.
