Any Aggression on Iran to Be Met with Operation True Promise 4: Ghalibaf
Iranian Speaker rejects “Israel’s” claims on missile launchpads, reaffirms precision strikes and Hezbollah’s strength
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has dismissed claims by “Israel” that it destroyed half of Iran’s missile launchpads, describing them as false.
Speaking in an interview marking Iran’s Sacred Defense Week, Ghalibaf stressed that the accuracy of Iran’s missile strikes has already been proven.
“The enemies were planning to carry out an attack similar to the pager operation [in Lebanon] targeting the Iranian missile system, but ultimately failed after Iranian rockets accurately struck the strategic Beer al-Sabe’ area. Every Iranian missile was a clear message,” he said.
Operation True Promise 4 on the Table
Ghalibaf referred to Operation True Promise 3 as proof of Iran’s missile precision and deterrent capability. He warned that if aggression continues, Operation True Promise 4 would involve “even stronger and more powerful missiles.”
He stressed that defending Iran is both a matter of national interest and part of safeguarding the broader Islamic world and regional security. “We defend our country because it is necessary for the region’s stability as a whole,” he said.
Hezbollah “Stronger Than Ever”
Addressing Hezbollah’s position, Ghalibaf rejected claims of weakened supply lines. While acknowledging difficulties, he emphasized the group’s continued strength.
“In terms of beliefs, capabilities, cohesion, material and moral aspects, Hezbollah is alive and more spirited than ever,” Ghalibaf said. He noted that despite Israeli operations, including the pager incident and targeted assassinations, Hezbollah remains resilient.
Warning Against Future Aggression
Ghalibaf reiterated a warning first issued on August 26, stressing that any new aggression against Iran would lead to conflict expansion into “new areas and additional domains.” He underlined that Tehran’s response to any attack would be stronger than before.
His remarks were echoed by a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), also released during Sacred Defense Week.
The IRGC emphasized Iran’s readiness and deterrence, drawing parallels between lessons of the Iran-Iraq War and recent confrontations with “Israel.”
The statement affirmed that under the leadership of Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, Iran’s armed forces have achieved self-sufficiency, operational initiative, and advanced defensive capabilities.
It warned that in case of “any miscalculation or aggression,” Iran would maintain battlefield initiative and deliver “another decisive and instructive response.” (PW)
