Anwar Ibrahim: No Agreement Without Guarantees of Full Palestinian Rights
Ibrahim emphasized that ending Israeli aggression and halting settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank are indispensable prerequisites for any just political settlement.
Malaysia, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has declared that Malaysia’s stance on the Palestinian cause remains “firm and non-negotiable,” stressing that no agreement can be viable unless it fully guarantees the rights of the Palestinian people.
Speaking to the press on Thursday night, Ibrahim urged the international community to adopt a clear and principled position that exposes the true intentions behind plans targeting Palestinians.
He emphasized that ending Israeli aggression and halting settlement expansion in the occupied West Bank are indispensable prerequisites for any just political settlement.
Ibrahim: Message Delivered Directly to President Trump
The Malaysian leader revealed that he had personally conveyed Malaysia’s position to US President Donald Trump, according to Al Jazeera.
Ibrahim reiterated that Malaysia views the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital as the only realistic path toward ending Palestinian suffering and achieving genuine peace in West Asia.
Israeli Genocide Continues With Full Western Backing
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation—fully backed by the United States and Europe—has carried out a widescale genocide in Gaza. The assault has included:
Mass killings
Starvation and engineered famine
Systematic destruction
Forced displacement
Arbitrary mass arrests
These crimes have continued despite repeated international appeals and legally binding orders from the International Court of Justice demanding an end to the genocide.
Catastrophic Toll on Gaza’s Civilian Population
The genocidal campaign has resulted in:
Over 239,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, the majority women and children
More than 11,000 missing, many trapped under the rubble
Hundreds of thousands displaced
A famine that has claimed the lives of countless civilians, most of them children
Malaysia’s strong stance stands in stark contrast to Western governments that continue to arm, fund, and politically shield the occupation forces as they commit atrocities at an unprecedented scale. (PW)
