Ansarallah: Hamas’ Response to Trump Plan Is Responsible
In a televised speech on Friday night, Al-Farrah said that Hamas’ reply was “realistic, practical, and demonstrating great flexibility."
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM – Mohammed Al-Farrah, senior member of the political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarallah movement, described Hamas’ response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza as a responsible.
Such stance underscores the movement’s commitment to halting genocide and starvation against the people of Gaza, protecting the besieged Strip, facilitating prisoner exchanges, and safeguarding Palestinian national unity and principles.
In a televised speech on Friday night, Al-Farrah said that Hamas’ reply was “realistic, practical, and demonstrating great flexibility.”
He stressed that any escalation in Gaza aimed at prolonging genocide and starvation would be entirely the responsibility of the United States and the Zionist regime.
Trump Cannot Be a Mediator While Partner in Aggression
The Ansarallah official declared that Trump could not claim to be a mediator while simultaneously being a key partner in the aggression against Gaza.
“A mediator cannot threaten those who reject his plan with genocide and unprecedented war,” he said.
Al-Farrah emphasized that Trump’s statements revealed he was not pursuing peace but seeking unconditional Palestinian surrender and the imposition of his dictates without negotiation.
“Trump’s attempt to dictate solutions by force reflects his full bias toward the Zionist regime,” he noted, adding that such bias disqualifies Washington from ever claiming neutrality.
The Palestinian People’s Choices: Resistance or Surrender
Al-Farrah explained that Palestinians, who have faced decades of conspiracies aimed at their eradication, are now confronted with two stark options: either to stand with dignity and defend their legitimate rights, or to surrender to a plan that would strip them of their land, freedom, and very existence.
He stressed that jihad and resistance remain the only path to preserving the rights of the Palestinian people, and that threats and intimidation will never break their will.
Hamas’ Official Response to Trump’s Gaza Plan
His remarks came shortly after Hamas issued its official response to Trump’s proposal for ending the war.
In a statement, Hamas said that in order to stop the aggression and genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza — and out of national responsibility and commitment to Palestinian principles — it had held extensive consultations within its leadership institutions, with other Palestinian groups, and with mediators and allies to adopt a responsible stance toward the plan.
Hamas confirmed the following:
Prisoner Exchange Framework: To end the war and ensure full withdrawal of the occupiers from Gaza, Hamas agreed to release all Zionist prisoners, whether alive or deceased, according to the formula outlined in Trump’s plan, once conditions on the ground permit. The movement expressed readiness to immediately enter negotiations through mediators to discuss the details.
Administration of Gaza: Hamas reiterated its approval to hand over the administration of Gaza to a Palestinian technocratic body composed of independents, established through national consensus and supported by Arab and Islamic backing.
Future of Gaza and Palestinian Rights: On other issues raised in Trump’s plan, relating to Gaza’s future and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, Hamas said these must be addressed within a comprehensive Palestinian national framework, based on relevant international laws and resolutions. Hamas pledged to participate responsibly in this process.
Al-Farrah concluded that the Palestinian people would never be subdued by threats, and that the path of resistance would ultimately guarantee their rights. (PW)
