SANA’A – A senior official from the Ansar Allah movement has strongly condemned Saudi Arabia for deliberately obstructing intra-Yemeni dialogue, asserting that the ongoing aggression against Yemen is fundamentally an American war designed to serve Washington and the Zionist entity’s interests.
Speaking to Al Mayadeen, Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Ansar Allah Political Bureau, laid bare the true architects of the suffering in Yemen, pointing directly to Riyadh’s stubborn determination to keep the conflict alive. Al-Bukhaiti stressed that the Saudi-led aggression is unacceptable and operates as an extension of the US imperialist agenda in the region.
He also highlighted the sinister role of the Zionist regime, warning that the occupiers are working tirelessly to manipulate and rally Arab governments against the resilient Yemeni people and their armed forces, who have stood as a bulwark against regional normalisation with the Zionist enemy.
Debunking Riyadh’s Propaganda and the Situation in Taiz
Addressing the desperate propaganda campaigns launched by the Saudi coalition, Al-Bukhaiti categorically rejected Riyadh’s baseless allegations that the Yemeni Armed Forces have targeted Islamic holy sites. He dismissed these claims as outright falsehoods, reaffirming that Sanaa remains deeply committed to the protection of all Islamic sanctuaries and has absolutely no interest in endangering them.
Turning to the domestic front, the Ansar Allah official addressed the recent escalations in Taiz, describing the situation as being “deliberately inflamed” by forces seeking to fracture Yemeni unity. He emphasised that Ansar Allah has consistently called for a comprehensive Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue to resolve internal disputes, a path previously rejected by the Saudi-backed factions.
Al-Bukhaiti placed great importance on the people of Taiz, urging its residents to heed the lessons of history and remember the devastation unleashed by Saudi mercenaries on the western coast.
Furthermore, he noted that recent international mediation efforts to bring peace to Yemen have largely lacked sincerity, with the notable exception of the diplomatic efforts led by Oman.
The statements from the Ansar Allah leadership come as the Yemeni Armed Forces continue to fortify their defences and maintain their steadfast support for the Palestinian resistance, further cementing Yemen’s central role in the Axis of Resistance against US hegemony and Zionist occupation.
