Analyst: World Hands Gaza’s Fate to Trump, an Explicit Enemy of Palestine
“The international community has handed the fate of the Palestinian people to Trump—an explicit enemy of Palestine—placing in his hands all the keys to the issue,” he said.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Palestinian academic and political analyst Dr. Imad Abu al-Hasan sharply condemned the international community for granting what he described as legitimacy to US control over the administration of Gaza—effectively turning President Donald Trump into a “supervisor” of the Strip despite his long-established hostility toward the Palestinian people.
Analyst: The Problem Is Not Trump, But the World That Enabled Him
Speaking in an analysis broadcast on Al-Masirah TV, Abu al-Hasan stressed that the central issue lies not in Trump himself, but in the international community that has abandoned Gaza and Palestine at their darkest moment.
He argued that by turning its back on the suffering of Palestinians, the world has allowed Washington to falsely present itself as the protector of Gaza.
“The international community has handed the fate of the Palestinian people to Trump—an explicit enemy of Palestine—placing in his hands all the keys to the issue,” he said.
Abu al-Hasan expressed surprise at what he called a shocking and deliberate forfeiture of responsibility by global powers, noting that the situation now resembles an internal American file that Trump is expected to “resolve” after months of genocide and destruction.
“Trump’s Hostility No Less Severe than Netanyahu, Smotrich, and Ben-Gvir”
The analyst emphasized that despite portraying itself as an arbitrator, Washington remains fully aligned with the occupation. He warned that Trump harbors deep-rooted hostility toward Palestinians, no less severe than that of senior Zionist officials.
According to Abu al-Hasan, the current international posture is designed to mask Zionist crimes in Gaza while reducing political pressure on Washington and the Israeli entity.
He noted that since the ceasefire announcement last month, around 310 Palestinians have been killed, with hundreds more wounded as bombardment by air, land, and sea continues.
US Plan Seeks to Label Resistance as Terrorism and Strip Palestinians of Power
Abu al-Hasan said the American strategy aims to:
brand the Resistance as terrorism
justify efforts to disarm it
fragment Palestinian society
weaken all remaining sources of Palestinian strength
He warned that this trajectory was already evident before Hamas and the Resistance factions accepted Trump’s proposed plan.
He revealed that the occupation has begun forming collaborator groups to track Resistance fighters and tunnel networks across Gaza—particularly in Rafah, which remains under direct occupation.
“Trump Has Become the Ruler of Gaza with Global Approval”
Abu al-Hasan argued that Trump now functions as the de-facto ruler of Gaza, empowered by international cover.
He said the aim of this imposed arrangement is to:
secure the Zionist entity
undermine Palestinian security
reduce Palestinian life to a condition without value
He also criticized the roles of Qatar, Egypt, and Türkiye, saying they have “offered nothing real to the Palestinian people.”
Occupation Expands Through “Yellow Zones” While Forcing Palestinians Westward
The analyst explained that the occupation is advancing daily inside areas it previously claimed to have left. Through the establishment of so-called yellow zones, Israeli forces are pushing Palestinians toward the coast in an effort to tighten control and alter Gaza’s geography.
A Long-Term Project to Divide Gaza and Cement Permanent Occupation
Abu al-Hasan asserted that the joint American-Israeli plan seeks to divide Gaza into:
green zones
red zones
yellow zones
—creating a permanent occupation reality under the misleading label of “stability.”
He reminded viewers that Trump had previously stated that Washington would implement its plan directly in occupation-controlled areas if Hamas rejected it:
“This is exactly what we see today in the yellow zone,” he said, “where aid is blockaded and Resistance areas are turned into open battlefields—under an international legitimacy that has effectively installed the United States as the governor of Gaza.” (PW)
