Ali al-Houthi: Trump’s Gaza “Peace Plan” Exposes U.S. Partnership in Israeli Aggression
Trump’s threats against Palestinians for rejecting his proposal serve the interests of the Israeli entity and expose his role as a primary partner in the ongoing aggression againts Gaza.
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, stated that U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats against Palestinians for rejecting his proposal serve the interests of the Israeli entity and expose his role as a primary partner in the ongoing aggression against Gaza.
Al-Houthi emphasized that true peace cannot be built upon threats and intimidation, pointing out that Trump’s attempt to portray himself as a mediator is invalid when he openly supports the Israeli enemy.
U.S. Support for Genocide in Gaza
Trump announced his proposal on Monday, purportedly calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the exchange of Israeli captives held by Hamas for Palestinians imprisoned in Israeli jails, and a phased Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
The announcement comes amid Washington’s unprecedented military, intelligence, and political backing for Israel’s war on Gaza, which has resulted in the deaths of nearly 66,300 Palestinians—mostly women and children.
The United States has dramatically increased its arms shipments to Israel while repeatedly vetoing United Nations resolutions aimed at halting the brutal onslaught. (PW)
