Al-Quds Brigades Shell Israeli Command-and-Control Center in Al-Zaytoun
Al-Quds Brigades, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, and Al-Qassam Brigades coordinate strikes in response to Israel’s “Gideon’s Chariots 2” offensive
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced on Thursday that its fighters shelled an Israeli command-and-control center in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, with mortar rounds.
In a military communiqué, the group said the strike was carried out in coordination with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the armed wing of the Fatah movement.
The attack comes a day after Palestinian resistance factions launched “Moses’ Staff,” a coordinated military campaign aimed at countering Israel’s “Gideon’s Chariots 2” operation, which Tel Aviv has initiated as part of its push to occupy Gaza City.
Resistance Intensifies Under “Moses’ Staff” Banner
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, released footage showing the targeting of Israeli military vehicles in Jabalia, in northern Gaza, as part of the “Moses’ Staff” operations.
A resistance source said the initial phase of the campaign began in recent days in Jabalia and Al-Zaytoun, just hours after Israel announced the launch of “Gideon’s Chariots 2.”
The coordinated actions by multiple Palestinian factions underscore a united front in the face of Israel’s ongoing ground operations, with resistance groups seeking to disrupt and repel advances in both northern and southern sectors of the Gaza Strip. (PW)
