Al-Quds Brigades Announce Martyrdom of Commanders in Gaza, Vow to Uphold Resistance
Spokesman Abu Hamza says the movement made a “historic breakthrough” during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, confirming the martyrdom of hundreds of fighters and top military leaders
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, announced on Wednesday the martyrdom of hundreds of its fighters, commanders, and specialized cadres who ascended during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation in the Gaza Strip.
In a speech delivered by the movement’s spokesman, Abu Hamza, he described the operation as a “historic crossing into our occupied lands.”
Abu Hamza affirming that the resistance had successfully breached the Gaza envelope in what he called “the largest and most complex military operation in the history of the Arab–Israeli conflict.”
Senior Commanders Martyred
Abu Hamza confirmed the martyrdom of members of the Al-Quds Brigades’ Military Council, naming them as:
Mohammad Ismail Abu Sukheil, Hassan Ali al-Naem, Riyad Saleh Hashish, Youssef Hosni Nabhan, Marzouq Mohammad al-Shaer, and Mahmoud Ahmad Abu Shammala.
He also announced the martyrdom of members of the “Foundational Council”, including:
Ibrahim Mohammad Jumaa, Mohammad Ibrahim al-Qatrawi, Wael Rajab Abu Fanounah, Mohammad Zaki al-Bayouk, Thaer Mansour Abed, Khaled Mousa al-Banna, Abdullah Mahmoud Abu Ayada, Ayman Nasser Zaarab, and Naji Maher Abu Seif, the former military spokesman of the Brigades.
These leaders, Abu Hamza said, “fulfilled their pledge of jihad, leading with courage, planning with vision, and sacrificing their lives on the path of liberation.”
Israeli Crimes and U.S. Complicity
Abu Hamza denounced the Israeli occupation’s barbaric war on Gaza, stressing that the enemy’s actions “do not represent a reaction to our military operation, but rather a premeditated war of extermination against our unarmed civilian people, fully supported by the United States.”
He added, “The enemy has revealed its true, ugly face to the world — slaughtering tens of thousands of innocent civilians, women, and children.”
The spokesman described the Israeli regime as “devoid of humanity and values, a bloodthirsty and racist army led by a gang government.”
Abu Hamza’s statement underscored that the massacres in Gaza reflect not defense, but intent — a continuation of Israel’s systematic policy of genocide and destruction aimed at erasing Palestinian existence.
Unity of Resistance: Al-Quds Brigades and Al-Qassam Brigades
Abu Hamza reaffirmed the strong, ongoing coordination between the Al-Quds Brigades and Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, emphasizing that “the relationship between the two movements has never been severed.”
He stressed that the movement remains fully committed to the ceasefire agreement, while vowing to monitor the occupation’s adherence to its terms.
“We will carefully observe the enemy’s commitment,” he declared, “and our response will match the scale of any violation.”
The announcement reflects both the heavy price paid by the resistance and its unwavering resolve to continue confronting the occupation.
Despite the loss of senior commanders and cadres, the Islamic Jihad Movement declared that the path of resistance will not be broken.
In Abu Hamza’s words, “Every drop of blood spilled strengthens our determination. The enemy may kill our leaders, but it cannot extinguish the fire of faith and freedom in our people.” (PW)
