Al-Mashat: Israeli Aggression Will Not Break Yemen’s Support for Gaza
Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Chief Vows Powerful Response to Attacks on Sana’a and Al-Jawf
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Mohammed Al-Mashat, affirmed that the brutal Zionist aggression against Yemen on Wednesday afternoon was a failure, calling on the Zionists to remain on high alert as the response is inevitable.
He stated that this aggression “will give us an even greater opportunity to respond with all the strength at our disposal.”
Strikes on Sana’a and Al-Jawf
On Wednesday afternoon, the Israeli enemy launched a fierce aggression against the capital Sana’a, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of several people in a strike targeting the headquarters of the Moral Guidance Department in Al-Tahrir Square.
The spokesperson for the Yemeni Oil Company confirmed that the attack also targeted a medical facility belonging to the health sector on Sixty Street, southwest of Sana’a.
Meanwhile, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated that air defenses engaged hostile aircraft during the aggression. The Israeli enemy also bombed the government complex in Al-Hazm District, Al-Jawf Governorate, in northeast Yemen.
Yemeni Air Defenses Foil Most of the Attack
The Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed that air defenses launched multiple surface-to-air missiles during the aggression, forcing some combat formations to withdraw before completing their missions and thwarting the majority of the attack by the grace of Allah.
Aggression Will Not Break Yemen’s Support for Gaza
The Israeli enemy continues to target Sana’a and several Yemeni governorates in an attempt to force Yemen to abandon its steadfast support for Gaza.
However, these crimes have failed to deter Yemen’s operations deep inside the enemy’s entity — the latest being the strike on Ramon Airport just two days ago. (PW)
