Al-Aamri: The US and Its Proxies Are Enacting the Final Act of the Plot to Divide Yemen!
He explained that the objective is to impose foreign agendas and seize control of Yemen’s key state institutions and strategic resources.
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Secretary-General of the Southern Liberation Front, Arif Al-Aamri, stated that the recent movements and provocations occurring in the governorates of Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra—carried out by the so-called Southern Transitional Council and militias loyal to the coalition of aggression—are part of a wider plan led by the United States and its allies, with support from Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
He explained that the objective is to impose foreign agendas and seize control of Yemen’s key state institutions and strategic resources.
Speaking to Al-Masirah TV on Thursday morning, Al-Aamri described these actions as the “final act of a long-running play” launched by the aggression years ago. Despite years of military and economic siege—lasting more than a decade—foreign powers and their political and military proxies have failed to defeat the national forces in Sana’a.
He added that the ultimate aim of this project is to tighten pressure on the national authorities and Yemeni components.
It aims to impose specific agendas that could amount to redrawing the political and historical geography of the governorates in ways that serve external interests at the expense of Yemen’s unity and sovereignty.
Defilement of Yemeni Flag Part of Broader Foreign Manipulation
Regarding the desecration of the Yemeni flag in Al-Mahra, Al-Aamri said the silence of the so-called Transitional Council, led by Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, proves their submission to foreign “directors” who issue orders that are followed without resistance.
He emphasized that the Yemeni flag remains raised across all liberated Yemeni territories and that no national institutions in Sana’a were affected by this violation.
Instead, the acts in Al-Mahra are part of a wider scheme aimed at manufacturing a distorted narrative of the situation.
Al-Aamri affirmed that the people of Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra—being the rightful owners of the land—will not allow any foreign agenda to be implemented. Their stance has always remained independent from all foreign-aligned factions and parties involved in the aggression.
Foreign Exploitation of Local Militias and Attempts to Reshape Yemen
Al-Aamri outlined several key lessons to be drawn from recent developments:
• Foreign regimes are exploiting local militias to impose external agendas and tighten control over occupied Yemeni governorates.
• Powers of local political parties—such as the Islah Party—are being stripped away to limit their maneuvering ability and pave the way for new imposed authorities.
• Yemeni society is being treated as a set of manipulable tools, moved according to pre-planned scenarios, as seen in attempts to impose foreign influence in Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra and prepare conditions for societal division and dependency.
Warning of Escalation if Foreign Powers Continue Interference
The Secretary-General stressed that any attempt to subjugate or starve the people of Hadhramaut and Al-Mahra will fail, as tribes and local communities remain the safety valve protecting their land, unity, and national identity.
He warned that continued foreign-backed movements may trigger popular and military escalation among local factions if efforts to seize natural crossings and strategic resources persist.
Al-Aamri concluded that the tools of the aggression will not—under any circumstances—be able to dominate the will of the people or the tribal structures of the two governorates. (PW)
