Again: Yemen’s Hypersonic Missile Strikes Ben Gurion, Shuts Down Airport
The operation was executed using an advanced hypersonic ballistic missile, the specific type of which was not disclosed.
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM – In a televised statement, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced that Yemen’s missile force carried out a high-level military operation targeting Lod Airport—referred to by the Israeli occupation as Ben Gurion Airport—in the occupied area of Jaffa.
The operation was executed using an advanced hypersonic ballistic missile, the specific type of which was not disclosed.
According to Saree, the missile strike successfully hit its intended target by the grace of God, triggering chaos and mass panic among Israeli settlers, with millions rushing to shelters. The airport’s operations were completely halted following the strike.
A Response to Gaza Genocide and a Victory for the Palestinian Cause
The Yemeni Armed Forces declared that this operation was carried out as a direct response to the genocide and daily massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people in Gaza. It is also a show of solidarity with the resistance fighters defending the besieged enclave.
The military affirmed its continued enforcement of a no-fly zone over Lod Airport, emphasizing that most international airlines have complied with the restrictions in recent days—causing significant disruption to Israeli air travel and weakening the enemy’s economic and logistical capabilities.
Five Precision Operations in 24 Hours and Continued Escalation
Over a span of just 24 hours—from dawn Thursday to dawn Friday—the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out five precision operations, three of which involved the use of hypersonic missiles targeting Lod Airport on Friday alone.
As a result, waves of flight cancellations from foreign airlines continue to cripple the Zionist entity. The Yemeni military reiterated its firm stance: operations will not cease until the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is fully lifted. (PW)
