Abu Ubaida: Resistance Will Not Cease Until the Enemy is Defeated
Al-Qassam Brigades claim successful ambushes and precision strikes against Israeli forces in Khan Yunis and Jabalia as war escalates in Gaza
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Abu Ubaida, the spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has vowed that resistance operations against the Israeli occupation will continue “until it is vanquished.”
“Our fighters, the heirs of the prophets, continue to hurl the Stones of David at Gideon’s Chariots, striking down the arrogance of the occupation until it is vanquished,” Abu Ubaida said in a statement issued on Friday.
He praised the resilience and determination of the resistance fighters, stating that through their heroism, “they inscribe the triumph of the faithful and oppressed over the arrogant and tyrannical.”
Friday Ambush in Khan Yunis Leaves Five Israeli Soldiers Dead
Referring to a Friday morning ambush in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis, which left five Israeli soldiers dead and others wounded, Abu Ubaida declared that “the losses inflicted upon the occupation today in Khan Yunis and Jabalia are but a continuation of a series of precision operations—a model of what awaits the occupying forces wherever they set foot.”
Palestinian resistance groups carried out a series of successful operations in Khan Yunis on Friday, targeting strategic Israeli military positions amid the ongoing Israeli offensives in the Gaza Strip.
According to reports from the Gaza-based Safa news agency, citing Hebrew-language media sources, an Israeli special forces unit was ambushed in an operation east of Khan Yunis.
A building booby-trapped by Palestinian fighters reportedly exploded, resulting in the deaths of five soldiers and injuries to seven others, including two in critical condition.
“At least five soldiers were killed and seven wounded, including two in critical condition, by blowing up a building by military force,” Safa reported. Israeli military helicopters were deployed to carry out emergency air evacuations from the battlefield inside Gaza.
The Palestinian Information Center added that the Israeli unit had entered a building that had been prepared in advance by resistance fighters. The structure exploded and collapsed on twelve soldiers, and efforts to evacuate the wounded were severely hindered by the ongoing exchange of heavy fire.
Joint Resistance Strikes: Mortars and IEDs Hit Occupation Forces
Fighters from the Al-Quds Brigades, in coordination with Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades, struck the Israeli occupation’s headquarters near Canada Hall in southeastern Khan Yunis with a sustained heavy mortar barrage.
In another operation, resistance fighters destroyed an Israeli military vehicle using a powerful improvised explosive device (IED) in the Kafr Qarara area in northern Khan Yunis.
In the Al-Jumayza area, a separate Israeli armored vehicle was also neutralized during a precision-guided resistance operation.
These coordinated strikes reflect a notable increase in the sophistication and precision of resistance tactics, indicating deep battlefield coordination between Gaza’s armed factions.
Abu Ubaida to Settlers: End the War or Prepare for Coffins
Addressing Israeli settlers, Abu Ubaida issued a stern warning, stating that they now faced two options: “force their leadership to end this genocidal war or prepare to receive more of their sons in coffins.”
The spokesman’s statement came amid an intensifying Israeli military campaign across the Gaza Strip, marked by relentless bombardment and siege.
According to health authorities in Gaza, the ongoing genocide has resulted in at least 54,381 Palestinians martyred and more than 124,054 injured since the start of the Israeli assault in late 2023. (PW)
