Abu Ubaida: Al-Deif’s Shadow Looms as a Lasting Nightmare for the Occupation
Al-Qassam Spokesman Hails the Legacy of the Al-Aqsa Flood Architect as a Beacon for Global Resistance and a Nightmare for the Zionist Occupation
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM – In a powerful statement marking the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Commander Mohammad al-Deif, military spokesperson of Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, honored the legacy of the man hailed as the mastermind behind the historic “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.
The tribute described al-Deif as a symbol of defiance, sacrifice, and strategic brilliance who inspired generations and reshaped the Palestinian resistance landscape.
A Symbol of Resistance and Strategic Genius
Abu Ubaida described Commander Mohammad al-Deif as one of the most towering figures in the modern history of the Palestinian resistance. Leading the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, he delivered what Abu Ubaida called “the harshest blow in the history of the Zionist entity,” breaking its deterrence irreversibly and unifying the Ummah's energy toward the cause of Palestine.
Al-Deif’s leadership, shaped over decades of clandestine warfare and innovation, guided the resistance through the most intense confrontations with the Israeli occupation, all while evading capture.
His martyrdom, Abu Ubaida said, marked the culmination of a life of jihad and sacrifice, and his blood merged with that of the countless Palestinian martyrs who gave their lives for Al-Aqsa and liberation.
A Legacy Rooted in the Spirit of Islamic Commanders
Drawing historic parallels, Abu Ubaida likened al-Deif to legendary Islamic military figures. Despite remaining faceless to many, al-Deif’s actions, determination, and ingenuity inspired a new generation of fighters throughout the region.
“He will remain, like the great commanders before him, a beacon for every free soul in the world,” Abu Ubaida affirmed.
A Living Nightmare for the Zionist Occupation
Abu Ubaida emphasized that al-Deif’s brothers-in-arms, followers, and admirers continue his path from all corners of the globe. The resistance, he said, is exacting daily strategic losses on the Israeli occupation, keeping the legacy of their commander alive through ongoing operations.
“The shadow of al-Deif will remain a nightmare for the war criminals and thieves who seek to enjoy life on stolen land,” Abu Ubaida stated. “They will never find peace in Palestine, for al-Deif and his brothers have written the final chapters of liberation with their blood.”
A Martyr Beyond the Grave
Abu Ubaida concluded by reaffirming that although Commander Mohammad al-Deif is no longer physically present, his memory, vision, and sacrifice have become immortalized in the hearts of the resistance and the global movement for justice.
“He is the leader that generations did not see, but whom they take pride in through the victorious acts of his brigades,” the statement read. “He will remain, as with other great commanders, a guiding light for every free soul across the world.” (PW)
