Abu Obeida to Arab Leaders: The Blood of Gaza Is on Your Hands
In his first video address in months, the al-Qassam spokesperson delivers a powerful message on accountability, resistance, and the shifting course of the war
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - In a fiery and emotional address, Abu Obeida, the spokesperson for the al-Qassam Brigades, accused leaders of the Arab and Islamic world of bearing responsibility for the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Speaking on behalf of the military wing of Hamas, he declared:
“The necks of the leaders of the Islamic and Arab nation, its elites, and its scholars are weighed down by the blood of tens of thousands of innocent people who were betrayed by their silence.”
He emphasized that the Zionist enemy would never have dared commit genocide "in full view of the nation’s leaders, had it not been assured of impunity, guaranteed silence, and bought betrayal."
Abu Obeida made clear that no one is exempt from responsibility:
“No one responsible for the bloodshed is spared, no exceptions. Those with the power to act must do so, each according to their ability and influence.”
Yemen: An Example of Honor and Resistance
Abu Obeida paid tribute to global supporters of the Palestinian cause, particularly highlighting the role of Yemen:
“We salute our brethren in Yemen—the nation of wisdom and faith—its people, its army, and the steadfast Ansar Allah. By engaging the enemy head-on, they have shamed those who stand by or bow down.”
He extended appreciation to all free people across the world who have defied the siege and stood against oppression, refusing to remain silent in the face of injustice.
Al-Qassam’s Evolving Strategy: Strike Hard, Capture Soldiers
Turning to the battlefield, Abu Obeida revealed that the al-Qassam Brigades have entered a new phase of operations, focused on inflicting significant losses on the Israeli army, executing precision strikes, and attempting to capture soldiers.
In his first video appearance since March 6, the spokesperson stated:
“Our fighters are surprising the enemy with new tactics and methods, having learned from the longest war and confrontation in the history of the Palestinian people.”
He warned the Israeli government that continuing the war would only bring more body bags:
“If the enemy chooses to continue fighting, it is deciding to keep receiving the bodies of its soldiers and officers.”
Israel Obstructs Ceasefire Talks, Rejects Prisoner Exchange
Addressing the ongoing ceasefire negotiations, Abu Obeida confirmed that the Resistance has offered comprehensive proposals in recent months that would ensure the release of all Israeli captives and end the war.
However, he condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government for rejecting the proposals:
“Netanyahu, the war criminal, and his ministers rejected our offer, proving they don’t truly care about their captives since they are soldiers. These soldier-prisoners are not a priority for his government—they have already conditioned their public to accept the possibility of all of them being killed.”
He warned that if Israel continues to sabotage negotiations, previous partial deals or smaller proposals would no longer be on the table.
Collaborators Are a Sign of Enemy Failure
In his address, Abu Obeida also exposed attempts by the Israeli occupation to recruit collaborators, including agents using Arab names, in a desperate effort to infiltrate Resistance networks.
“These efforts only prove the enemy’s failure. Their collaborators are spent tools, powerless in the face of a people who reject betrayal.”
He issued a final warning to those collaborating with the enemy, urging them to abandon betrayal and return to their people. He praised the honorable Palestinian families and clans who have publicly disowned such traitors, showing unity and dignity.
A Message to Gaza: Your Patience is Victory
Concluding his address, Abu Obeida turned directly to the people of Gaza, praising their resilience under immense suffering:
“We kiss the foreheads of all our great, steadfast people who remain patient and victorious.”
He emphasized that it is not weapons alone, but the spirit of resistance, the patience in deprivation, and the refusal to break, that most angers the enemy:
“Our people’s resilience despite betrayal, their sacrifices, and their defiance of oppression are what infuriate the occupation the most.”
