Abu Obeida: The Bill Remains Unpaid, Resistance Leaders Continue the Path
Abu Obeida says Israel’s assassinations will not weaken the Resistance, vowing the struggle will continue until the occupation pays a heavy price.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, declared that the Palestinian Resistance remains steadfast despite the martyrdom of several senior commanders, stressing that the Israeli occupation has fundamentally misread the battlefield and that the bill for its crimes remains unpaid.
In a message released on Tuesday, Abu Obeida said the occupation believed that assassinating Resistance leaders would weaken the struggle, but instead it has only strengthened the determination of those who continue the path of liberation.
“The bill remains open until the enemy pays its full price,” Abu Obeida stated.
He described the occupation as an enemy that has repeatedly violated agreements and continued its aggression against the Palestinian people despite ceasefire understandings and international guarantees.
“The occupation has proven once again that it recognizes neither agreements nor obligations. Palestinian blood continues to be shed while the enemy persists in its crimes,” he said.
Resistance Leadership Endures
Abu Obeida paid tribute to the martyrs of the Palestinian people and the Resistance movement, honoring those who fell during the ongoing battle and emphasizing that their sacrifices will not be forgotten.
He specifically praised the role of the martyred commander Izz al-Din al-Haddad, noting that he led defensive operations in northern Gaza and played an important role in planning Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7.
He also remembered the martyred commander Mohammed Odeh and other Resistance leaders who devoted their lives to building and strengthening the military capabilities of the Palestinian Resistance.
According to Abu Obeida, the loss of senior commanders has not disrupted the Resistance’s course.
“There remain leaders who were raised in the fields of steadfastness and preparation, refined by experience and forged by wars,” he said.
Addressing the occupation directly, Abu Obeida warned that the assassination campaign would fail to achieve its objectives.
“After the martyrdom of our leaders, expect what will distress you, enemies of God. You have achieved nothing. There remain leaders who continue preparing and organizing against you, and they will never abandon the path of Resistance and the martyrs.”
Message to Gaza
Addressing the people of Gaza, Abu Obeida praised their resilience and loyalty despite months of war, siege, and destruction.
“We heard your voices, your chants, and witnessed your magnificent farewell processions for the martyred leaders. It is forbidden for us to betray this blood.”
He pledged that the Resistance would remain faithful to the sacrifices made by the people of Gaza and continue the struggle until victory.
“These immense sacrifices will, by the will of God, produce a clear and decisive victory.”
Call to Mediators and the Islamic World
Abu Obeida also questioned the role of mediators and international guarantors while Israeli attacks continue unabated, arguing that the moment has come for a clear historical position.
He urged mediators to stop equating the victim with the aggressor and called on them to pressure the occupation to implement ceasefire commitments and fulfill its obligations.
“The current stage requires the unification of all efforts to restrain the occupation and force it to abide by its commitments. Silence and neutrality are no longer acceptable.”
The al-Qassam spokesperson further renewed his call for unity across the Arab and Islamic worlds, urging the Ummah to set aside its differences and focus on confronting what he described as its primary enemy.
As Israel continues its assassination campaign despite ongoing ceasefire arrangements, Palestinian Resistance factions maintain that the struggle remains far from over and that the path laid down by the martyrs will continue until liberation is achieved. (PW)
