"A Zionist-American War on Islam": Ansar Allah Exposes the True Motive Behind Quran Desecration

Following the desecration of the Holy Quran in the United States by an American national, the Leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, has delivered a blistering condemnation, exposing the act not as a mere exercise in Western “free speech,” but as a calculated “Zionist-American” declaration of war against Islam.

In a televised address on Thursday, Sayyed al-Houthi dismantled the imperialist narrative, asserting that the relentless hostility toward the Holy Book stems directly from its core teachings: justice, the liberation of humanity from subjugation, and armed resistance against oppression.

“The repetition of Zionist-American insults to the Holy Quran exposes their clear hostility toward all sacred principles, their hatred of the divine message, and their hostility toward all values of goodness and justice,” the Ansar Allah leader declared, stressing that such desperate acts could never diminish the sanctity or status of the Quran.

The Broader Imperialist Agenda

Sayyed al-Houthi contextualised the desecration within the broader, blood-soaked schemes of the American-Zionist axis, specifically the “Greater Israel” project and the ongoing attempts to redraw the Middle East by force. He pointed to the unimaginable crimes being committed in Gaza, as well as the moral depravity of the Western elite—highlighting the Jeffrey Epstein scandal—as undeniable proof of the corrupt nature that God explicitly warned humanity about in the Quran.

For the Axis of Resistance, the psychological warfare of Quran burning is inextricably linked to the physical annihilation of Palestinians in Gaza. Both are tools used by a panicked hegemon trying to break the spiritual and political will of the Muslim world.

A Call for Economic Warfare

Criticising the weak and largely symbolic responses from compromised Arab and Islamic regimes, Sayyed al-Houthi issued a direct call to action for the Ummah. He urged Islamic nations and peoples to move beyond empty condemnations and weaponise their economies, demanding a comprehensive boycott of American goods and products from any nation that sponsors or permits the desecration of Islamic sanctities.

Reaffirming Yemen’s steadfast position at the vanguard of the Axis of Resistance, Sayyed al-Houthi vowed that the Yemeni people will continue to defend the Holy Quran, as clearly demonstrated by their massive, ongoing street protests.
